With the continuous development of information technology,all aspects,including education and teaching,have become more information-based,which has greatly innovated teachers’ teaching ideas and teaching methods.At the same time,in primary school,the learning of English listening and speaking becomes more and more important,which is not only the requirement of the core accomplishment of English subject,but also the need of life.Combining English listening and speaking teaching with modern teaching resources such as micro-lecture has gradually become a concern of many teachers and scholars,which is not only the call of the present situation of English teaching,but also the trend of integrating modern educational technology into subject teaching.Therefore,to understand the current application of micro-lecture in primary school English listening and speaking teaching,and through investigation and research to further put forward reasonable optimization suggestions for the integration of micro-lecture and English listening and speaking teaching,become the topic of this study.Based on the present situation of English listening and speaking teaching in primary schools and the development of the combination of micro-lecture and English teaching,this study aims to summarize the present situation of micro-lecture in primary school English listening and speaking teaching and promote the better application of micro-lecture to this.Guided by relevant theories,this paper designs a questionnaire for students and an outline of interviews with teachers and parents in primary school.The main research contents and results include the following:In the first part,this study analyzes the current situation of micro-lecture research and the application of micro-lecture in English teaching at home and abroad through literature research,and analyzes the psychological characteristics of primary school students’ English learning.Through the interview method,we know that there are some problems in English listening and speaking teaching in primary schools,such as lack of systematic English learning environment,lack of teaching resources and teaching mode,significant differences in students’ listening and speaking level,low interest in listening and speaking classes,and relatively little time for students to practice English listening and speaking after class in order to clarify the research background of this paper.In the second part,this study investigates the application of micro-lecture to primary English listening and speaking teaching by questionnaire and interview.The analysis shows that the application of micro-lecture in primary school English listening and speaking teaching brings positive effects such as stimulating students’ subjective initiative,making students use scattered time to carry out "fragmented" learning effectively,helping to cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability,improving the efficiency of English listening and speaking class,promoting the professional development of teachers,and promoting the modernization and informatization of English teaching.At the same time,there are some problems,such as students’ difficulty in related micro-lecture,teachers’ difficulty in making and searching micro-lecture.In the third part,based on the comprehensive analysis of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview survey results,some suggestions are put forward.The suggestions mainly include guiding students to cultivate the search ability of online learning resources,cultivating students’ information literacy,guiding teachers to change teaching methods,strengthening teachers’ education and technical training,parents can carry out appropriate supervision,use micro-lecture within the scope of economic conditions,integrate and optimize micro-lecture teaching resources,vigorously develop primary school English listening and speaking related micro-lecture,hope to provide some reference for the application of micro-lecture in primary English listening and speaking teaching.
