| MOOC stands for English Massive Open Online Course.As a new form of teaching,MOOC has the characteristics of large-scale,online and open.Its emergence provides a new idea for international Chinese education.At present,most of the researches on Chinese phonetics,Chinese characters,vocabulary,grammar and culture,which are the key elements in the field of international Chinese education,agree that Chinese culture teaching and MOOC are a good combination point.However,the research on the construction of Chinese culture MOOC courses is still in its infancy,and the design of some courses is still inadequate.However,the research results on the construction of primary cultural MOOC courses are even less.From the perspective of cultural teaching in the primary stage,this paper explores the teaching method combining Chinese culture and MOOC mode.Based on the research and analysis of the video production,teaching methods,classroom interaction,and after-class testing of Chinese culture courses offered by the three foreign MOOC platforms "ed X","Coursea" and "Udacity" and the domestic platform "Chinese Alliance",the following conclusions are drawn:In terms of course video production,there are classroom recording,teacher discussion and animation presentation.These methods have their own advantages and disadvantages,and it is impossible to say which one is more suitable for learners.In terms of teaching content,there are single cultural content,and there are contents covering all aspects of Chinese culture.In terms of teaching time,two courses are within 10 minutes,which accords with the cognitive characteristics of learners.One is longer than 15 minutes,which makes it difficult for learners to concentrate.In terms of classroom interaction,most courses involve after-class interaction through discussion boards,with little or no interaction in class.In terms of after-school tests,some are not set up,and some are too difficult.In short,all these courses have their own characteristics,but there are still some shortcomings.In the future design,we should pay attention to the scientific arrangement of teaching content,increase classroom interaction,design the form of video production in line with learners’ interests,and make after-class tests more targeted,so as to better play the advantages of MOOC in the field of Chinese culture teaching.The innovations of this paper include: 1.Most of the cultural teaching contents in previous studies did not have a fixed outline,but this paper benefited from the newly issued "Teaching Reference Frame of Chinese Culture and National Conditions for International Chinese Education",so as to determine the cultural teaching contents in the primary stage.2.Previous studies mainly focused on the design of cultural content in a certain aspect,and cultural teaching did not pay enough attention to the stage.In this paper,the teaching design is carried out for the cultural teaching in the primary stage,so as to provide some references for the construction of cultural MOOC courses. |
