In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the mainstream academic research mainly focuses on the teaching of Chinese in large classes,while the one-to-one teaching of Chinese is rarely paid attention to,and the one-to-one teaching of Chinese for overseas Chinese children is even less.Therefore,the purpose of this thesis is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of online one-to-one Chinese teaching for Chinese children based on the platform of "Clii Chinese Tutorial Centre" and practical teaching experience,and to collect the problems encountered by other one-to-one Chinese teachers in online classes and compare them with the problems found by themselves.This paper summarizes and classifies the common problems in one-to-one online Chinese teaching for Chinese children,analyzes the causes of errors,and finds out the solutions.The second objective is to test the support degree of traditional teaching theory to teaching practice,so as to improve the theoretical research on one-to-one online Chinese teaching for Chinese children.The central part of the thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the teaching materials used by the platform,the composition of teachers,the structure of students and the teaching process.In the second chapter,six teaching designs are carried out by using natural method,multimedia teaching method,situation teaching method,game teaching method,demonstration-imitation method and audio-visual method.After the teaching practice,the author summarized the teaching design,found out its advantages and analyzed its shortcomings through stage testing,resource utilization,homework completion and teacher-student interaction.Chapter three summarizes the problems in teaching practice,combines the problems in other teachers’ one-to-one online Chinese teaching,and puts forward solutions and feasible suggestions for these problems through horizontal comparison,quantitative and qualitative analysis.It is found that in one-to-one Chinese teaching for Chinese children,teachers can choose to use a variety of teaching methods.Teacher identity has flexibility,can make full use of all kinds of teaching resources,establish multilateral interactive learning relationship and other advantages;However,at the same time,there are also some shortcomings,such as: easy to have problems in teaching hardware,unstable class time,communication problems caused by language failure,low attention from parents,low comprehensive quality of students,difficult classroom management,and difficulties in learning Chinese characters,which are also problems to be solved in the follow-up of this study.This study hopes to enrich the theory of one-to-one Chinese teaching for Chinese children by its own teaching practice and provide practical reference for one-to-one Chinese teaching for overseas Chinese children. |
