Illustration Design Of Shanxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Cooked Pasta From The Perspective Of Graphic Narrative

Among the intangible cultural heritage of Shanxi,boiled pasta is a common food in daily diet,which plays an important role in Chinese diet and enriches Chinese traditional diet culture.After thousands of years of historical accumulation,Shanxi has manifested its remarkable regional culture in practices,tastes,varieties,origins,dietary traditions and nutritional values.With the progress and development of The Times,the traditional production techniques of Shanxi intangible cultural heritage cooking pasta have gradually declined and been replaced by new types of pasta.Therefore,it is necessary to design and publicize the intangible cultural heritage cooking pasta,so that it can be known by people in a new visual way,so that the intangible cultural heritage cooking pasta has a more far-reaching influence.Based on the visual Angle of graphic narrative,this topic firstly summarizes and analyzes the related concepts of graphic narrative and illustration design,and explains the relationship between them.Secondly,the feasibility analysis of the illustration design of Shanxi intangible cultural heritage cooked pasta was carried out from the perspective of graphic narrative.Based on the basic theory of detailed study of the historical origin and development status of intangible cultural heritage cooked pasta,and based on the analysis of my actual investigation and relevant cases,a set of graphic narrative design methods for Shanxi intangible cultural heritage cooked pasta illustrations were proposed.According to its design principles,the visual elements design of graphic narrative is summarized.The author mainly designs and creates eight kinds of intangible cultural cooking pasta,including Shanxi’s state-level Longshu ramen,knife-cut noodle,sipped tip noodle and cat’s ear noodle,as well as provincial-level picking tip noodle,knife-pulled noodle,dip sheet and scissors noodle.The design focuses on three aspects: graphics,charts and illustrations.Through visual presentation of graphic narration of production techniques,graphic narration of production processes and scene illustration narration of historical and cultural stories behind them,the author finally guides "narrative" by means of "graphic" and reflects "graphic" by means of "narrative" to convey the characteristic culture of Shanxi intangible cultural heritage cooking pasta and pass it on better.It enables clear and intuitive protection and publicity of Shanxi intangible cultural heritage cooking pasta culture,explores new themes of graphic narrative illustration design,expands new ideas of theoretical development,and combines design practice to create a series of aesthetic and functional derivatives.
