Analysis Of The Characterization Of Ban Zhirui And His Main Singing Segment

The opera On the Road to Poverty Alleviation is a realistic national opera created in 2019,which draws on the production techniques of modern western operas and incorporates a large number of Chinese national musical elements,by mixing and matching the bel canto,the ethnic singing,the popular singing and the folk singing method.On the basis of inheriting China’s traditional national opera,it highlights the strong features of the times.While eulogizing the heroes who dedicate themselves to the poverty alleviation,the opera takes into account the aesthetic needs of the modern public,so that the noble spirit of the heroes can be carried forward under the condition of aesthetic identity recognition of the public art.In this paper,the leading actor Ban Zhirui in the opera and his main aria Too Late are taken as the research object.It is generally divided into three parts:the first part is the introduction part,which introduces the reason for choosing the topic,literature review,research methods and research significance.The second part is divided into three chapters:In addition to an overview of the opera,Chapter 1 also introduces the background of making the opera,the development of the story,logical relationship,etc.,and it also analyzes the overall layout of the music in the opera;In Chapter 2,it carries out an analysis and research on the role of Ban Zhirui,mainly from the three aspects,including stage role relationship,emotion and psychology and adopt Ban’s aria and the shaping of the stage role for comprehensive research;Chapter 3 is about the analysis and research of Ben Zhirui’s main aria Too Late.Seven aspects are taken as the research objects,including the relationship between music ontology and singing,singing skills,emotional expression,lyrics and music processing,stage performance,research on the first singing version and personal singing practice.In the conclusion part,the research findings of the paper are summarized.The purpose of this paper is to strengthen the rational and perceptual cognition of the role-building of opera through the analysis and study of Ban Zhirui’s role-building and his main aria in the opera On the Road to Poverty Alleviation,in an aim to improve the performance of the role acting.At the same time,it is hoped that the concluded research findings can provide further references for future actors.
