The national opera "On the Road to Poverty Alleviation" uses the story of Huang Wenxiu’s initiative to fight on the front line of poverty alleviation after graduating from graduate school,but dedicates his precious life to the cause of poverty alleviation as creative material,showing the image of a poverty alleviation cadre who never slackens off and dedicates himself to the people,and praises a spirit of poverty alleviation that is brave and willing to contribute.And "Too late" is a very important tenor aria in the opera "On the Road to Poverty Alleviation".The research of this article is divided into four sections,the first part being the introduction,which presents the origin of the selection of the topic,the current state of the research and the purpose of the research;The second part briefly introduces the background and plot content of the opera creation,and analyzes the melody and lyrics of the singing section "Too late";The third part mainly explores the singing skills from the aspects of breath control of songs,processing of biting words,and correct grasp of emotions;The fourth part combines the author’s own stage practice experience,from the cultivation of psychological quality on the stage,and analyzes in detail thespecificstage performanceof "Too Late" from theaspects ofposture,eyes,andgestures.The author hopes that this article can provide feasible reference opinions for the majority of vocal music learners,so that singers can better grasp the musical image and emotional characteristics of the singing section "Too Late" and better understand the spiritual connotation in stage practice.At the same time,I also hope to use this research to improve the author’s own work analysis ability andsongsinging level.
