Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Intractable Facial Paralysis With Canggui Acupunctur

Objective:In this project,patients with intractable facial paralysis were taken as the research object,with Cangguitanxue acupuncture as the participant factors,and takes the degree of H-B scale and Sunnybrook scale as the observation indexes,so as to evaluate the therapeutic effect of Cangguitanxue acupuncture on intractable facial paralysis,for the clinical treatment of the disease to provide easy operation of acupuncture treatment.Method:A total of 60 patients were diagnosed as intractable facial paralysis and meets the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria,who were hospitalized in the outpatient department of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation Department of Hunan Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2022 to March 2023.The patients were numbered according to the order of presentation.The included patients were numbered by random number table method and divided into two groups.There were 30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group,among which 5 cases fell off without full cooperation(4 cases in the treatment group and 1 case in the control group,respectively),and 55 patients were effectively included in the final study.Cangguitanxue acupuncture method was applied to the treatment group(taking facial Yuyao,Yangbai,Sizhukong,Sibai,Juliao,Dicang,jiache,Qianzheng,quanliao and limbs Hegu and Zusanli).The control group selected the same points as the treatment group,but the method of Pingbu Pingxie acupuncture was used in treatment.The patients received acupuncture once every 2 days for 4 weeks,a total of 14 times.H-B grading and Sunnybrook score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups in order to judge the clinical efficacy of Cangguitanxue acupuncture method in the treatment of intractable facial paralysis.The data recorded during the experiment were analyzed by SPSS27.0 statistical software,and the difference of P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:(1)There were no statistically significant differences in gender,course of disease and age between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which could be compared.(2)There was no statistical significance in H-B classification between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which could be compared.After treatment,H-B grade of both groups was lower than that before treatment,with significant difference(P<0.01).After treatment,the reduction degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,there was a significant difference(P<0.01).(3)There was no statistical difference in Sunnybrook score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After the completion of treatment,Sunnybrook score in the control group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05),Sunnybrook score in the treatment group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01),and Sunnybrook score in the treatment group was more significantly higher than that of the control group,with statistical difference(P<0.05).(4)There was no statistical difference in Sunnybrook dynamic score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,Sunnybrook dynamic score in both control group and treatment group was significantly improved compared with that before treatment(P<0.01),and Sunnybrook dynamic score in treatment group was more significantly improved than that in control group,with significant statistical difference(P<0.01).(5)After treatment,7 people in the treatment group were cured,10 were effective,3 were effective and 6 were ineffective,the total effective rate was 76.9%.In the control group,2 people were cured,6 people were effective,9 people were effective,12 people were ineffective,the total effective rate was 58.6%,the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:Cangguitanxue acupuncture method and Pingbupingxie acupuncture can improve the facial nerve function of patients with intractable facial paralysis after 4 courses of treatment.The recovery of facial nerve function in patients with intractable facial paralysis treated by Cangguitanxue acupuncture method is better than that in the group of Pingbupingxie acupuncture.
