Research On Marx’s Critical Theory Of Fetishism

The critical theory of fetishism is an important part of Marx’s theory.Starting from the materialist view of history,Marx took commodities as the starting point,and on the basis of analyzing the nature,source and fetishistic nature of commodities,he systematically discussed and analyzed the fetishistic nature of money and capital,and launched a profound critique of the capitalist mode of production.The critical theory of Marx’s fetishism reveals the reversed relationship between things and people in capitalist society,which is of great significance for continuing to criticize contemporary capitalism,correctly understanding and overcoming the fetishism phenomenon in our socialist market economy,and promoting the free and all-round development of human beings.This paper studies Marx’s critical theory of fetishism and its contemporary value from the following three parts.The first part,on the basis of analyzing the origin of fetishism,discusses the development of the critical theory of fetishism from the bud to the mature stage,reflecting the deepening of Marx’s understanding of fetishism.The second part expounds the main content of Marx’s critical theory of fetishism,studies three forms of fetishism--commodity fetishism,money fetishism and capital fetishism,focuses on the analysis of the progressive relationship among the three in logic,and expounds the path to dissolve fetishism phenomenon,which is mainly embodied in the sublation of the existing production mode of capitalism and the establishment of the future communist public ownership.The third part expounds the theoretical and practical value of Marx’s fetishism critical theory,points out that the theory of fetishism is a concrete application of Marx’s materialist view of history,and provides theoretical guidance for continued criticism of contemporary capitalism.Moreover,according to the current phenomenon of fetishism in our country,based on the actual situation,the methods to eliminate fetishism are put forward.Contributing to the early digestion of the fetishism phenomenon in our socialist market economy.
