Reliability And Validity Of Chinese Version Of Patient-Nurse Trust Scale And The Application In Community Health Service Institutions

Objective1.To introduce the Patient-Nurse Trust Scale of Community Health Service Institutions,to complete the translation and revision of the scale,and test its reliability and validity.To form a Chinese version of the Patient-Nurse Trust Scale of Community Health Service Institutions.2.Apply the Patient-Nurse Trust Scale in community health institutions to investigate the trust level between nurses and patients and analyze its influencing factors,in order to provide reference for improving the level of patient-nurse trust.MethodsThe first part:Sinicization of PNTS scale.After obtaining the authorization of the author of the original scale,the PNTS scale was translated,translated back and adjusted according to the Brislin model to form the chinese version of the scale.The second part:This study used convenience sampling to select 221 patients from four community health service institutions in Qingdao city for questionnaire surveys.The item analysis,reliability,and structural validity were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 statistical software.Internal consistency reliability,split-half reliability,and test-retest reliability were used to evaluate the reliability.Content validity and structural validity were used to evaluate the validity.The third part:Current situation investigation.A general information questionnaire and the Chinese version of the Community Health Service Institution Trust Scale were used to conduct a questionnaire survey of 370 patients from six community health service institutions in Qingdao.SPSS 26.0 statistical software was used for data analysis.Frequency and composition ratios were used to describe the general demographic data,while the total score and dimensional scores of the trust level between patients and healthcare providers in community health service institutions were presented as mean ±standard deviation.Independent sample t-tests or analysis of variance were used for single-factor analysis of general information,and multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of patient-healthcare provider trust.Results1.The Patient-Nurse Trust Scale sinicized: Nine language adjustments were completed,the chinese version of PNTS retained 18 items.The I-CVI of the scale was0.87～1.00,and the average S-CVI(scale-level CVI)was 0.917,with good content validity.2.Reliability and validity test of the chinese version of PNTS: Factor analysis shows that the scale has a single dimension,the cumulative variance contribution rate was79.69%,the Cronbach’sα coefficient of the scale was 0.984,the partial half reliability was0.960,and the retest reliability was 0.994,showing good internal consistency and stability.3.Analysis of the status quo and influencing factors of patient-nurse relationship trust in community health institutions: The total score of patient-nurse relationship trust in community health institutions was 60.02±7.34,and the score levels of each item in the scale are inconsistent.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of patient-nurse relationship trust were the type of medical insurance,the evaluation result of the service quality of medical institutions,and the degree of emphasis on health(P<0.05).Conclusions1.The scale of community health care institutions has good reliability and validity due to its concise and concise language,and can be used to evaluate the patient-nurse relationship trust in Chinese community health care institutions.2.The trust level of nurse-patient relationship in community health service institutions is at a moderate level,and the type of medical insurance coverage,evaluation results of the service quality of medical institutions,and the degree of emphasis on health all have varying degrees of influence on the trust level of nurse-patient relationships.
