Tonifying Kidney And Helping Yang,Raising Earth And Gold Treatment An Evidence-Based Study Of Allergic Rhinitis

Objective:Study 1: Meta-analysis was used to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Tonifying kidney and helping Yang,raising earth and gold treatment(Shenling Baizhu Powder,Yupingfeng Powder,ephedra and Fuzi asarum Decoction,Zhenwu Decoction)in the treatment of allergic rhinitis,in order to provide evidence-based medical evidence and clinical basis for Tonifying kidney and helping Yang,raising earth and gold treatment of allergic rhinitis.Study 2: By observing the changes of symptoms and signs of patients with allergic rhinitis after 3 weeks of treatment with self-designed Specimen balance of rhinitis,the clinical therapeutic effect and adverse reactions of Specimen balance of rhinitis on allergic rhinitis were discussed.Methods:Study 1: By searching all literatures related to the treatment of allergic rhinitis with Shenling Baizhu Powder,Yupingfeng powder,ephedrine aconite asarum decoction and Zhenwu decoction from China National Knowledge Network,Wanfang Database,VIP database,China Biomedical Literature Database,Pub Med and Cochrane library from its establishment to December 2022,Subsequently,two researchers conducted literature screening and data extraction independently,imported the selected literatures into Note Express software,used the bias risk assessment tool provided by the Cochrane collaboration network to evaluate the quality of the included literatures,and used Revman5.4software to conduct data statistics for the included literatures.Forest maps were used to present the analysis results.Study 2: In this study,60 patients with allergic rhinitis who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Hospital of Mongolian Medicine Affiliated to Inner Mongolia Medical University and Department of Otolaryngology,Inner Mongolia Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with self-prepared Specimen balance of rhinitis combined with Mometasone furoate nasal spray,and the control group was treated with Mometasone furoate nasal spray.The changes in positive symptoms and signs of the two groups before and after treatment were recorded.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical processing of the collected data,and the clinical therapeutic effects of the two groups of patients were compared.Results:Study 1: A total of 37 literatures were consistent with this study,including a total of 3812 patients with allergic rhinitis,all of which were randomized controlled experiments.A meta-analysis was conducted on the finally included literatures,and the results were as follows: The total effective rate of Tonifying kidney and helping Yang,raising earth and gold treatment was higher total effective rate than that of conventional western treatment(RR=1.22,95%CI=[1.19,1.26],P<0.00001).Low recurrence rate(RR=0.34,95%CI=[0.25,0.47],P<0.00001);The adverse reaction rate was low(RR=0.52,95%CI=[0.34,0.77],P=0.001);In addition to the improvement of IL-10 and Ig A,there were significant differences between the two groups in the improvement of major nasal symptoms,signs,Ig E,IL-4 and other laboratory indicators.Study 2:In the comparison of Major symptoms,Specimen balance of rhinitis combined with Mometasone furoate nasal spray had better effect on nasal congestion,itching,sneezing and runny nose than Mometasone furoate nasal spray alone,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the comparison of signs,Specimen balance of rhinitis combined with Mometasone furoate nasal spray had better effect in improving nasal signs than that of Mometasone furoate nasal spray alone,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In comparison of concomitant symptoms,Specimen balance of rhinitis combined with Mometasone furoate nasal spray had better effect on concomitant symptoms than Mometasone furoate nasal spray alone,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of Specimen balance of rhinitis combined with Mometasone furoate nasal spray group(93.33%)was higher than that of Mometasone furoate nasal spray control group(73.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3months,the recurrence rate of treatment group(10%)was lower than that of control group(33.34%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months,the recurrence rate of treatment group(16.67%)was lower than that of control group(36.67%),but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).No adverse reactions occurred in the two groups.Conclusion:Study 1: From the results of meta-analysis: Tonifying kidney and helping Yang,raising earth and gold treatment were superior to western medicine control group in terms of total clinical effective rate,improving nasal symptoms and signs,reducing the incidence of adverse reactions and long-term recurrence rate.They were also effective in reducing Ig E,IL-4,IL-6and peripheral EOS levels.In terms of enhancing the levels of IL-12,Ig G,Ig M,IFN‐γ,tonifying kidney and helping Yang,raising earth and gold treatment were superior to western medicine control group.However,the regulation of IL-10 and Ig A was similar to that of the western control group.Study 2: From the clinical observation of 60 patients with allergic rhinitis medical records,it can be concluded that Specimen balance of rhinitis combined with Mometasone furoate nasal spray has definite curative effect and low recurrence rate in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.Compared with Mometasone furoate nasal spray alone,TCM overall treatment has more advantages,so it is worthy of further research and application.
