Objective: through the investigation of typical clinical cases of acne,to summarize the main syndrome and symptom characteristics of acne with spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation, and to explore the relationship between clinical symptoms and internal etiology and pathogenesis,in order to standardize and improve the clinical effect of syndrome differentiation in the treatment of acne. Methods: all the cases were collected from acne patients in dermatology clinic of traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region,in order to guide the patients to fill in the questionnaire and record the basic data and sample information.Results:(1)all acne patients included in the study were divided into four groups based on syndrome differentiation: spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type,spleen-stomach dampness-heat type, lung meridian wind-heat type, phlegm and blood stasis coagulation type and Chong-Ren imbalance type, among which the spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation group had the largest number(115 cases, accounting for 37.1%).(2)in this study,123 male patients and 187 female patients were divided into underage(7-17 years old),young people(18-29 years old),middle-aged and young people(30-39 years old)and middle-aged(over 40 years old),with the largest number of young people(52.9%).The aggravation of skin lesions in 74.3% of female patients was related to menstruation.(3)of all patients,105(33.9%)believed that excessive fatigue was the primary factor in aggravating acne, and the course of disease ranged from 1 to 10 years in 174 patients(56.1%).(4)There was significant difference in the grading and grading of skin lesions(P<0.05).(5)There was significant difference in the morphology of skin rash in patients with acne(P<0.05).(6)except for the type of phlegm and blood stasis, there were significant differences in the distribution of skin lesions in facial viscera(P < 0.05).Conclusion:(1)patients with spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type account for the largest proportion in this study population.(2)most of the patients with spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type were classified as grade Ⅲ-severe,followed by gradeⅡ-moderate,grade Ⅳ-severe aggregation and grade Ⅰ-mild.(3)Morphology of skin lesions:the lesions of spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation were mainly nodules and pustules, followed by papules, acne, scars and cysts.(4)Distribution of viscera in facial skin lesions: the skin lesions of spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation were mainly concentrated in nose and mouth(spleen),followed by left cheek(liver),right cheek(lung),mandibular chin(kidney),forehead and eyebrow.
