| With the vigorous implementation of China’s rural revitalization strategy, rural tourism has achieved rapid development, but the spatial characteristics of traditional villages have also changed with the diverse needs of tourists. How to balance historical protection and tourism development to achieve sustainable development is a realistic issue facing the current protection work of traditional villages. This thesis introduces the theory of spatial genes, taking the perspective of tourists’ perception, and conducts research around the mechanism of spatial genes affecting tourists’ satisfaction, with a view to clarifying the effective direction of traditional village protection and development. This thesis takes five traditional villages in She County as typical research objects.Firstly, through reading literature and field research,a spatial gene identification system was constructed to classify and identify spatial genes, and it was found that there are problems in villages such as the disappearance of natural environmental characteristics, the occurrence of gaps in spatial texture, and the failure to form a system for the protection of architectural heritage.Secondly, based on the "S-O-R" theoretical model,a tourist perception research system with 9 latent variables and 42 observation variables, with spatial genes as the independent variable, tourist sense of locality as the intermediary variable, and tourist satisfaction as the dependent variable,is constructed based on previous research perspectives and field research results, and research hypotheses are made. The rationality and feasibility of the experiment were verified by collecting data through questionnaires and conducting various types of analysis using SPSS.According to the difference analysis, there are significant differences between tourists in natural environment cognition and tourist satisfaction between this city and this province.Different monthly incomes lead to significant differences in tourists’ perception of environmental spatial genes and residential spatial genes.Thirdly, use AMOS to construct structural equations for empirical analysis, test research hypotheses and mediating effects, and obtain the mechanism of spatial genes on visitor satisfaction. The results show that the positive impact of spatial genes on visitor satisfaction can be divided into direct and indirect effects, but the direct effect is more significant.Among the direct effects, the degree of influence of belief spatial genes, residential spatial genes, and environmental spatial genes decreases in order, while folk spatial genes cannot directly affect tourist satisfaction. In the indirect effect, each dimension of spatial genes mainly affects tourist satisfaction through the historical and cultural dimensions of tourists’ sense of locality and tourism function dimensions, with different influencing paths and degrees. The total effect size is in order of belief spatial gene, residential spatial gene, environmental spatial gene, and folk spatial gene. Finally, based on the comprehensive survey results, tourists’ perception differences, and analysis of the mechanism of action, protection strategies are proposed around the impact path and degree of environmental spatial genes, belief spatial genes, residential spatial genes, and folk spatial genes on tourists’ satisfaction, with a view to providing reference for the historical spatial protection and tourism resource development of traditional villages in She County. |
