With the increasing attention paid by various sectors of society to traditional village culture,great enthusiasm has been shown for the protection of traditional villages and the excavation of village culture.Handan region has also actively carried out related work.Traditional villages are considered as the "memory of the nation" and a microcosm of agricultural civilization and local culture.As an important component of village culture,form and meaning culture has undergone evolution and development,removing the waste and preserving the essence,presenting its current appearance.Its historical and cultural value is self-evident.The evolution laws of form and meaning culture in traditional villages in Handan,the inherent driving force of inheritance through generations,and the inherent genes that continue to thrive,need to be further explored and studied;The analysis and research of the morphological and cultural genes in traditional villages in Handan based on the theory of cultural genes is an indispensable research content in traditional villages.Through the research approach of "preliminary basic research-establishment of research objects-sorting out of relevant research status-in-depth field investigation-sorting out genetic information of form and meaning culture-theoretical qualitative identification and analysis-constructing a genetic map of form and meaning culture",traditional villages in the Taihang Mountains of Handan were selected as the research object;Based on the theory of "cultural genes",identify and analyze the morphological and semantic cultural genes of traditional villages in the Taihang Mountains of Handan.Firstly,by reviewing and analyzing relevant literature in the early stage,as well as conducting on-site research,basic information is collected to summarize and summarize the research background and existing problems of traditional village form and meaning culture in the Taihang Mountains of Handan;Secondly,introduce the theory of "cultural genes",summarize the development process of the theory,as well as the inheritance and expression mechanisms of cultural genes,in order to clarify the identification mechanism and graph construction framework of form and meaning cultural genes;Then,conduct indepth on-site surveys,interviews,filming,and surveying again,strengthen the accuracy of research data,further sort out the basic information of traditional village form and meaning culture in the Taihang Mountains of Handan,explore its morphological characteristics,and based on its morphological characteristics and cultural gene theory,divide the form and meaning cultural genes in traditional villages into four categories:environmental genes,layout genes,architectural genes,and cultural genes,and identify and extract them;Finally,the identified shape and meaning cultural genes will be classified and summarized,and the genes will be encoded according to the existing coding rules in China to obtain the gene information chain.Then,a gene map of traditional village shape and meaning culture in the Taihang Mountains of Handan will be constructed to achieve the archiving,searching,and efficient retrieval of traditional village shape and meaning cultural information.This study conducts in-depth research on the genes of traditional village form and meaning culture at the theoretical and methodological levels,providing ideas for the integration of traditional village form and meaning cultural resources and the inheritance and optimization of form and meaning culture at the application and practical levels,in order to enrich the development of the "cultural genes" theory and fill the research gap of traditional village form and meaning culture in the Taihang Mountains of Handan,Provide reference for the protection and utilization of traditional villages in the Taihang Mountains of Handan in the future,as well as the excavation and construction of their form and meaning culture.
