| Fujian Tulou is a World Heritage Site for the harmonious coexistence of natural ecology and human activities. It is also a typical representative of Chinese historical and cultural villages, with superior natural environment and precious historical and cultural relics. With the rapid progress of urbanization in China and a large number of "constructive" development, the landscape of the Fujian Tulou has been damaged to varying degrees. In the process of tourism development and construction, there are blindness, convergence and other problems, which seriously threaten the sustainable development and protection of Fujian Tulou. In the context of rural revitalization, the protection and sustainable development of the Fujian Tulou landscape is of great significance. In recent years, the protection of the Fujian Tulou settlements in China has focused on the management and repair of individual buildings in these settlements, ignoring the overall grasp of the settlement landscape.Landscape resource evaluation is an important tool for identifying the internal composition and external performance of rural landscape resources, which can provide an important basis for the protection and renewal of villages. Therefore, this study focuses on the landscape evaluation and optimization strategies of Fujian Tulou villages in Nanjing, which is a typical Chinese historical and cultural village in order to achieve sustainable development of the landscape of Fujian Tulou villages in Nanjing. The main research results are as follows:(1)By consulting literature, summarizing and summarizing the current research situation of relevant theories,we conclude the limitations of relevant research in China, and summarize relevant foreign experience and practices. In addition,a clear classification of rural landscape resources provides theoretical support for the study of the historical and cultural village of Fujian Tulou in Nanjing.(2)Analyze the historical evolution,socio-economic,and landscape resource elements of the historical and cultural village of Fujian Tulou in Nanjing, through data search and on-site research. The landscape characteristics were summarized as follows: rich resource types, diverse functions, unified style and culture, complex spatial structure, and unstable pattern.(3)According to the relevant national standards for classification of landscape resources, previous studies on rural landscape resources and the evaluation system of historic and cultural towns and villages, and combined with the actual situation of the survey, the evaluation system of the Fujian Tulou historic and cultural villages landscape resources is constructed, which consists of two project layers of landscape resource quality and planning and utilization conditions, six criteria layers and 28 indicator layers, and the weight of the corresponding indicators is determined.(4)Based on the evaluation system,a comprehensive landscape evaluation was conducted for four historical and cultural villages of Fujian Tulou in Nanjing, obtaining the scoring values of various elements of each village, and corresponding analysis was conducted on the evaluation results. The advantages and disadvantages of the landscape resources of each village were summarized, providing a basis for proposing optimization strategies.(5)Based on the evaluation and analysis results, the optimization principles for the landscape of the historical and cultural village of Fujian Tulou in Nanjing are proposed, including two optimization strategies: "improving the quality of landscape resources" and "improving the planning and utilization conditions",with a view to achieving the effective utilization and reasonable development of landscape resources within the village, and providing empirical reference and quantitative support for promoting the development of local rural tourism. |
