| At present,most rural communities in China are facing severe practical problems such as increasing aging and severe empty nest phenomenon.Against the backdrop of the national acceleration of the construction of rural elderly care service system and the comprehensive promotion of urban-rural integration,suburban rural areas,as a special form of village closely related to urban development,have highlighted the issue of aging in rural communities,which has given rise to a series of explorations and research on the aging of the spatial environment of suburban rural communities,providing great research impetus for the aging landscape design of suburban rural communities in Xi’an.This article first reviews the relevant concepts and research theories of aging friendly landscape design in suburban rural communities,and determines that the starting point of this article is to study the aging friendly current situation of suburban rural communities with different development positioning in Chang’an District,Xi’an City.Then,through research methods such as on-site investigation and induction,summary,and analysis,the problems of discomfort with aging in the current spatial environment of rural areas in Chang’an District are summarized and summarized.At the same time,through a questionnaire survey,the basic current situation and outdoor behavior activities of elderly people in rural communities were investigated,and the design principles and universal strategies for aging friendly landscapes in Xi’an suburban rural communities were summarized.After the above research and analysis,the following results have been obtained:(1)An important means to improve the aging problem in suburban rural communities is to design suitable aging landscapes in rural communities.When designing suitable aging landscapes in rural communities,it is necessary to consider the physiological needs,safety needs,social needs,respect needs,and self actualization needs of the elderly.Finally,it is necessary to promote the use of active aging theory to alleviate the pressure brought by the aging problem in rural communities.(2)Currently,there are many issues with the overall spatial environment of rural communities in the outskirts of Chang’an District,Xi’an City,which is not suitable for aging.A spatial environment study was conducted from various aspects such as roads,greenery,activity spaces,and infrastructure.It was found that the current rural community road space has poor comfort,lacks multi-functional activity spaces and infrastructure,and overall landscape quality is not high.To meet the outdoor activity needs of the elderly,it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that elderly people at different stages will choose activity spaces with different functions based on their own physiological and psychological changes.(3)Through investigation and research on the current situation of aging adaptation in some rural communities in Chang’an District,the design principles of functional diversity,participation recognition,landscape diversity,safety and comfort,as well as aging adaptation landscape design strategies that can be widely applied in suburban rural communities in Xi’an City,have been summarized.Firstly,increase multi-functional activity space,transform small venues to improve utilization,arrange fitness space reasonably,and increase leisure and entertainment space for the elderly to activate the vitality of rural space and increase the frequency of elderly people going out.Then optimize the road health and safety system to meet the needs of elderly people’s travel safety and physical and mental health.Then,through reasonable planning of green spaces and infrastructure,rural elderly people will have green,ecological,and livable outdoor activity spaces.Finally,the principles and strategies of aging suitable landscape design for suburban rural communities in Xi’an will be summarized and applied to Shangwang Village,Chang’an District.Through the practice and application of aging suitable landscape design in Shangwang Village,the purpose of testing the research results will be achieved.I hope to provide certain reference value for solving the problem of rural elderly care environment discomfort caused by the severe aging of suburban rural areas in Xi’an in the future. |
