| With the development of the world,there is a high-quality care demand elderly.The shift from family-based care to institutional care for the paralysed elderly has led to many problems for institutions and their caregivers in caring for the paralysed elderly.Therefore,whether institutional care beds can truly meet the needs of users,help paralysed elderly people and caregivers to have a better care experience,solve core user problems,guide user behaviours,improve the quality of care,and enhance user experience and emotional protection are issues to be studied and solved.Under the research method of user experience,this project aims at the innovative design of institutional care beds,taking the paralysed elderly and their caregivers as the research objects,and conducts a comprehensive analysis of China’s elderly institutions to explore the current situation of institutions in using care beds to take care of the paralysed elderly.Then,the research method of user experience is applied to carry out research on institutional users,and the Kano model is established to integrate user research data and obtain the core needs of the paralysed elderly;user behavioural characteristics and possible problems in the care process are analysed by means of user portraits,contextual storyboards and 4A frameworks.Finally,based on the previous research,design specifications for institutional care beds for the paralysed elderly are proposed and the solution design is carried out.The innovative aspects of this project are:the core user needs of bathing,toileting and getting in and out of bed are the main design points,helping to solve the problems of bathing and mobility of the elderly and reducing the workload of caregivers;the modular design and detachable bed combination design solve the user’s operational needs under the premise of safety and facilitate the use of the institution The design,colour and material take into account the user’s characteristics,avoiding the coldness of traditional mechanical care beds and reducing the elderly’s perception of "I am a patient";the use of intelligent buttons and touch screen controls enhance the interaction between the user and the bed,bringing the user a sense of ease of use.The significance of the project is to help reduce the workload of nursing staff in elderly institutions,improve the experience of paralysed elderly people in daily care,solve the problems encountered in the care of elderly people in elderly institutions,create a comfortable and relaxing environment for paralysed elderly people in elderly institutions,and complement the application of user experience in nursing beds for paralysed elderly people. |
