Study On The Outdoor Suitable Aging And Plant Landscape Design Of The Elderly Care Community Based On The Concept Of Horticultural Therapy

As China steps into an aging society,the problem of providing for the aged has been paid more and more attention.In November 2019,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the national medium and long term plan for actively coping with population aging,which pointed out that aging is the basic national condition of China for a long time at present and in the future.The increase of population aging,mental disorder,sub-health and other issues has become an important problem facing the society.How to make the physical and mental health of the elderly better take care of,and make the life of the elderly better become a problem that should be seriously considered in all walks of life.It is also a sign of social progress and the embodiment of humanistic care.Nature has a close relationship with human beings.No matter at the physiological or psychological level,it has a special healing effect to contact with nature.The landscape design in the elderly care community integrates horticultural therapy,which not only creates a comfortable and pleasant natural living environment,but also enables the elderly to interact with plants through horticultural activities,so as to promote their physical and mental recovery.Based on the study of outdoor aging and plant design in the elderly care community,this paper takes horticultural therapy as an effective way to improve the landscape environment and physical and mental health of the elderly in the elderly care community,and adopts literature retrieval,field research,case analysis,interdisciplinary method,chart analysis and other research methods to discuss the relationship between outdoor aging and horticultural therapy in the elderly care community This paper analyzes the successful cases at home and abroad,and summarizes the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly.This paper summarizes the breakthrough points and design points of improving the landscape environment of the elderly care community based on the concept of horticultural therapy,and summarizes the design principles and specific suggestions of application methods.Combined with the application of horticultural therapy theory in the outdoor aging and plant design practice of Beijing Taikang Yanyuan,the author hopes to provide new ideas and methods for the improvement of community environment and physical and mental health of the elderly through the research of basic theories and the innovation of design methods,to create a safe,healthy and comfortable natural environment,so that the elderly can enjoy themselves and do what they want.
