The manufacturing level of port and machinery heavy industry equipment affects the capacity of global port transportation.With the transformation of global manufacturing industry and the vagrity of market economy,the development of port and machinery heavy industry enterprises in China is generally restricted by the increase of labor cost,intensified production risk and long manufacturing cycle.At the same time,there is a sharing and coordination relationship between funds,manpower,materials,machines and other resources among multiple projects,and there are often multiple projects in parallel,which makes it more and more difficult to organize,implement,coordinate and manage projects.Therefore,in order to achieve high-quality development,it is necessary to evaluate and analyze the project management maturity of port machinery heavy industry enterprises.Firstly,based on the domestic and foreign literature,this thesis sorts out the research status of project management and project management maturity.Through the summary of multi-project management theory and life cycle management theory,as well as the comparative analysis of different project management maturity,combined with the project management characteristics of port machinery Heavy industry enterprises,this thesis constructs the maturity model based on OPM3.The model is divided into five levels,and after expert questionnaires and reliability and validity.Then,combined with the questionnaire survey,the analytic hierarchy process is used to determine the weight of indicators,and according to the fuzzy membership grade scoring results of Z company employees,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to establish the evaluation matrix to determine the maturity level.Finally,a fourquadrant analysis is conducted on the maturity level and weight of the indicators to determine the improvement direction of Z Company’s project management.The research results show that the project management maturity of Company Z is between the standard level and the mature level,which means that the company has reached the maturity level of standardized project management.However,in terms of quality management,user management and organizational multi-project management,the company still has a large space for improvement,and needs to improve the key capabilities of the organization,such as quality rectification ability,user demand collection ability,organizational resource coordination ability,etc.Finally,feasible optimization suggestions and improvement strategies are put forward for all levels.Through the research of this thesis,it is hoped to provide some reference value for the improvement of project management maturity ability of port machinery and heavy industry enterprises,clarify the optimization direction for enterprises,and enhance the competitive advantage of China’s port machinery and heavy industry enterprises in the world.
