| This article takes the application research on project management maturity ofMaTou Plant Heating Unit Expansion as the subject, the method of combining theoryresearch and project example with reference as the main thread, beginning with the topicresearch background and significance, analyzing research status at home and abroad.Then, it makes a detailed introduction of project, project management, projectmanagement process and project management maturity theory, which focus on the CMM,K-PMMM, PMS-PMMM, OPM3and Cobweb Model to do a literature review andcomparative analysis. Next, based on deeply understanding the features, which are longduration, multi-year, high-cost and high technology of Power Generation Companies,this article constructs a project management maturity model. Power GenerationCompanies project management maturity is divided into five levels: confusion level,initial level, specification level, control level and strategic level. With describing theeight factors that affect Power Generation Company project management maturity, ofqualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, the evaluation system of power generationcompany project management maturity is founded by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.At the end, MaTou Power Plant expansion2×300MW heating unit project is selected todo project management maturity assessment. We put forward some advices about thenext step should be taken based on analysis of the maturity value, which includes theoverall process and key.This paper makes a research on Power Generation Company project managementmaturity which contains lots of shortcomings, so the organization can developimprovement plans to enhance Power Generation Companies’ project managementcapabilities. This has great significance for our Power Generation Company projectmanagement capabilities. |
