| Chinese traditional handicrafts embody the optimistic and peaceful spirit of life in civil society,carry the gentle and generous aesthetic ideal,and bring together the wisdom of the Chinese nation in creation.In the process of modernization and transformation,China’s traditional handicrafts have been strongly impacted,and gradually the phenomenon of youthfulness has emerged.Therefore,in the current era of creativity,it is necessary to combine traditional handicrafts with modern cultural and creative products in order to better inherit and develop them,realize the redesign of traditional handicrafts and give them a new life.As one of the representatives of traditional handicrafts in China,the cultural and creative products of Caozhou Mianren have rough production process,single form and insufficient expression of cultural connotation,mainly because the cultural characteristics of Caozhou Mianren are not sufficiently extracted in the design process,the cultural and creative products do not combine the five senses experience well and do not pay attention to the sensory needs of users.In addition,according to the development of the times,the way of expressing emotion by a single sensory way is monotonous.Therefore,it is urgent to update the communication method based on the cultural connotation of traditional handicrafts,and to innovate the communication method by using the creative products of Caozhou Mianren based on multi-sensory experience as the carrier.This paper firstly adds the knowledge of physiological and psychological aspects of multisensory experience,lands multisensory experience from the height of theory to biological senses,as well as adds some cases about multisensory experience from various countries to better understand the concept of multisensory experience.Then,we extract the artistic characteristics of Caozhou Mianren through the study of Caozhou Mianren,and find the problems of the current cultural and creative products by analyzing the cases of Caozhou Mianren-related cultural and creative products.By breaking down the components of the cultural and creative products(structure,color,and material)and accurately connecting them with the concept of multi-sensory experience,the principles and methods of cultural and creative product design based on multi-sensory experience are derived,and on this basis,the model of cultural and creative product design based on multi-sensory experience is output.Following this,data are obtained and analyzed through quantitative and qualitative research to establish sensory needs,identify audiences and product types,and complete the design of a multisensory experience-based cultural and creative product for Caozhou Mianren.Finally,a quantitative scoring system is used to provide practical feedback on the design work and to reflect on and improve the sensory experience-based creative product design model.This paper is based on the concept of multi-sensory experience to explore the new ideas of traditional handicraft cultural and creative product design,through the output of multi-sensory experience-based cultural and creative product design model,using Caozhou Mianren as an example,the practice of cultural and creative product design,to enrich the experience dimension of Caozhou Mianren’s creative products,in order to play a role in the inheritance and development of the traditional handicraft of Caozhou Mianren,and provide useful reference for the development of other traditional handicrafts. |
