With the advent of the era of experience economy,people not only focus on the good-looking and easy-to-use products,but also pay more attention to the dialogue between products and culture,and the communication between products and emotions.Traditional handicrafts represented by Wuxi Zhima are facing the development dilemma of "difficult to inherit and harder to spread".To better carry on the inheritance of traditional handicraft,we must rely on the updated communication mode.On the premise of preserving the connotation of traditional handicraft culture,it is urgent to innovate the mode of communication with multi-sensory and experiential cultural and creative products as the carrier.Multi-sensory experience emphasizes to open up other sensory design channels besides vision,and advocates multiple sensory systems to stimulate and cooperate at the same time,so as to jointly improve users' physiological feeling of the product and promote users' emotional outburst of the product.The dimensions of feeling and perception perfect users' perception experience of products,namely multi-sensory experience.It is a response to the arrival of the era of experience economy,a response to the explosive growth trend of Chinese cultural and creative industry,and a tribute to the fading Wuxi Zhima.After collecting and sorting out relevant materials and conducting field research,it was found that most traditional handicrafts with Wuxi Zhima as an example could not be inherited.The reason is that the transmission model is too traditional.Therefore,the fundamental solution is to introduce the concept of multi-sensory experience and the idea of developing cultural and creative products into Wuxi Zhima based on its cultural background.In this paper,the physiological and psychological knowledge of multi-sensory experience is supplemented,and multiple cases of multi-sensory experience design are added to make the concept of multi-sensory experience better understood.Then the components of the product are separated and connected with multi-sensory experience,so as to deduce the principles and methods of multi-sensory experiential cultural and creative product design,and try to output the model of cultural and creative product design based on multi-sensory experience.Then,the artistic characteristics of Wuxi Zhima were extracted from the relevant research on Wuxi Zhima,and the design of Wuxi Zhima cultural and creative products was carried out through multi-sensory experience.Finally,quantitative and qualitative analysis is applied to design works for practical feedback,reflection and improvement of multi-sensory experiential cultural and creative products.Through the output of cultural and creative product design model based on multi-sensory experience,I hope to design and develop Wuxi Zhima in an all-round and multi-level way.In order to satisfy the emotional communication between users and products and obtain more satisfying experience,it will really help the inheritance and development of Wuxi Zhima,and then provide reference for the development of other traditional handicrafts.
