This study aims to investigate the effects of communication, trust, and conflict Interaction on the success of construction projects. Two models were hypothesized one examining communication’s connection and other examining trust’s connection with conflict and project success. The conceptual model was validated with empirical data via the structural equation modeling of both models. From the above we get the following results. The results showed that team communication model produced more significant results than trust model.Formal communication and informal communication interacted well with conflicts.Team trust model showed that both types interacted with process and relationship conflict but had no significant relationship with task conflict. The results showed that task conflict was positively related to project success.Process showed mix results in both models but relationship conflict affects project success negatively. Therefore,it is necessary to enhance the communication effectiveness among various project teams during the implementation of construction projects and take advantage of the positive effect of task conflict whereas mitigating the negative effect of process and relationship conflict.Calculative trust was found to have a negative influence coefficient than relationship trust. Also, during the implementation phase of a construction project more emphasis should be placed on nurturing trust among project teams, particularly on developing relational trust. This research makes significant theoretical and practical contributions to improving the theory of conflict management, and achieving project success in construction projects.
