Profit model refers to the enterprise through the integration and utilization of accessible resources to establish their own characteristics of the operation model,and through this operation model to obtain profits.Therefore,it is very important for enterprises to choose a profit model suitable for their own development in the operation process.And enterprises need to adjust their profit model to adapt to the changes of the external environment.In recent years,with the continuous improvement of China’s residents’ consumption level and the entry of foreign household appliances brands,the competition in China’s household appliances market has become increasingly fierce.And the household appliance industry is an industry with highly similar products and technologies.So it is difficult for household appliance enterprises to obtain more profits by relying on large-scale production and price war.The development of technology such as big data and Internet of Things gives traditional household appliance manufacturing enterprises an opportunity to explore a new profit model.As a leading enterprise in household appliance enterprises,Qingdao Haier seized this opportunity and put forward the development strategy of combining traditional home appliance manufacturing enterprises with Internet technology,looking for a more suitable profit model.By integrating the research results of relevant scholars,this paper analyzes Haier Zhijia’s profit model from five aspects: profit object,profit point,profit lever,profit barrier and profit source,and collects eight years’ financial data of Haier Zhijia from 2012 to 2020,taking 2014 as the node.From the four perspectives of stability,cash,sustainability and profitability of its profit quality analysis and vertical comparison,but also collected industry data,horizontal comparison with the industry,based on further analysis of Haier Zhijia profit model performance effect.Through research and analysis,it is found that Haier Zhijia has some deficiencies in accounts receivable management and inventory management due to its high investment in the early stage of profit model transformation,and also makes the proportion of sales expenses too high.In addition,Haier’s outsourcing policy also has certain risks and its capital structure is not reasonable.This paper puts forward relevant solutions to the above problems.Although Haier Zhijia still has the above problems in its profit model,the relevant measures taken by Haier in the transformation process also have a positive impact on Haier.After years of layout,Haier has formed a layout of seven brands.Meanwhile,Haier has grasped the needs of consumers in a timely manner and provided personalized products and services to consumers.In addition,haier’s construction of smart factories also enables it to carry out intelligent and large-scale production,which has expanded its income channels.By analyzing the profit model of Haier Zhijia,this paper summarizes its experience,lessons and enlightenment in the process of transformation,hoping to provide some reference for the profit model transformation of home appliance industry.
