| With the increasing attention and in-depth reform of vocational education by the country,the demand for curriculum teaching design by the education department is increasing,and the requirements are gradually increasing.This has attracted the attention and attention of vocational school educators.At the same time,as a major manufacturing country,the rapid development of China’s manufacturing industry has also put forward new functional requirements for mechanical production.The demand for mechanical professionals in enterprises and companies is increasing,so the reform of basic and core courses in mechanical majors such as "Mechanical Fundamentals" has also received attention from relevant education departments.This has prompted vocational schools to pay more attention to cultivating students’ mechanical skills and carry out teaching reforms on mechanical related courses.Based on this,in the investigation of the current situation of mechanical foundation education in vocational schools,the following shortcomings were found:(1)unclear teaching objectives;(2)The teaching content is one-sided and disconnected from reality;(3)The teaching method is single;(4)Formalization of teaching evaluation.The article is based on the OBE(Outcomes-Based Education)concept,and draws on the successful experience of OBE concept in other course teaching to carry out teaching design and practical research,in order to solve the problem of insufficient teaching effectiveness in the teaching of "Mechanical Foundation" course.The main content of the research includes:(1)clarifying the current application status and research points of OBE concept in modern domestic and international social environments,defining relevant basic concepts,and analyzing the theoretical basis of the research;(2)Investigate the current teaching situation of the course "Mechanical Fundamentals" in vocational schools and identify the shortcomings in the teaching of this course;(3)On the basis of the obtained results,an attempt is made to introduce the OBE concept into the teaching of the "Mechanical Foundation" course,analyze its application in the "Mechanical Foundation" course and the application rules in teaching,and carry out teaching design;(4)Design teaching cases and practice them based on the teaching content of the course "Mechanical Fundamentals",and finally evaluate,summarize,and analyze their effectiveness.Through practical research,the following conclusions have been drawn:(1)The curriculum design system based on the OBE concept is appropriate and effective,which can ensure that students acquire practical knowledge and improve practical abilities;(2)The course teaching has broken through traditional learning methods and aroused students’ curiosity.This not only stimulates students’ interest in learning and strong awareness of acquiring knowledge and skills,but also cultivates their autonomous learning ability;(3)Integrating real-life cases into the teaching process helps students form good professional values,meet the needs of enterprises and companies for excellent workers,and improve their professional abilities and literacy.In the end,it has been confirmed through practice that the curriculum design of "Mechanical Fundamentals" in vocational schools based on the OBE concept is practical and effective,in line with the development needs of schools and society,and can provide some reference for further research. |
