Engineering education has been one concern to our community because of the Engineering and Technological Sciences' status that can not be replaced in the social and economic development.That is the rapidly changing social environment and the engineering systems' characteristics,such as the ever-increasing complexity,multi-scale,uncertainty, multi-and interdisciplinary nature makes it necessary to change the engineering education.It's the only way to solve social problems and continue to make more contributions. Based on the informed research and practical experiences,this article studied the higher engineering education reform,particularly the personnel training of the CDIO model;Based on modern engineering background,trough the comparison and integration of the reform's implementation results both at home and abroad,this paper absorbed the advanced and successful ideas,practices and experiences in the reform process,to guide the implementation and practices of the higher engineering education;from the analysis of engineering education reform environmental and the main issues of the modern engineering training,as well as training requirements,I made an outline of model of engineering education teaching and put forward"one main body and two limbs,"a teaching practice model.This paper discussed the major process of reform with the integration of understanding and thinking of the CDIO's relevant principles of,grasped it's substantive features and key points,and made development on the premise of maintaining its fundamental concept;At the same time,the article combined with China's national conditions and engineering education's objective conditions,followed the general rules of training,and put forward specific practices and guiding ideology in the process implementation;It absorbed the diversified requirements from personnel training of the modern engineering,got a summary of comprehensive and integrated t requirements of scientific quality training;especially,I made comparative study of several typical curriculum system and set out some commendations related with reform and development,in allusion to the specific conditions of China's engineering education.On basis of the details mentioned above,I brought forward some main aspects of the reform of the management system of institutions of higher learning to ensure the successful implementation. The ideas and proposals presented in the paper are to ensure the implementation's feasibility and effectiveness.Although their approval has to go through long-term practice,I hope it can provide some valuable reference China's higher engineering education reform.
