As the support equipment of the military’s mobile force,military vehicles represent the development level of the military and also reflect the external image of the country and the military.Therefore,for the manufacture of military vehicles,it is not only necessary to realize the advancement of functional technology,but also to improve the level of styling design.The current research on the styling design of military vehicles is mainly oriented by the subjective creation of designers,and it is difficult to accurately meet the psychological expectations of users.Kansei Engineering establishes a multivariate functional relationship between perceptual images and design elements,which can provide scientific and objective theoretical support for design.Taking military vehicles as the research object,conduct related researches on styling design,promote the transformation of military vehicle styling design from subjective creation to objective demonstration,optimize the styling design process,and improve the efficiency and quality of styling design.First of all,in-depth investigations were conducted in the two research fields of military vehicle design and perceptual engineering,including historical development,classification and application fields,which provided basic theoretical support for subsequent research,ensured the smooth progress of design practice,and delineated research The scope of the military vehicle sample is the light tactical vehicle.Secondly,carry out data collection in two aspects: perceptual vocabulary and light tactical vehicle samples.One is to conduct task feature analysis and user feature analysis on the target population,and then build user portraits.The second is to select samples of light tactical vehicles for perceptual measurement,and deconstruct the design elements.Thirdly,the BP neural network is used to construct the design evaluation model of the light tactical vehicle,which realizes the mapping between the design elements and the perceptual image.Finally,the design element coding and perceptual measurement of the selected samples are used to complete the training and testing of the model.Finally,Finally,the modeling design practice of light tactical vehicle is carried out.Firstly,the positioning of the modeling design is analyzed,and the national standard and the size range of the man-machine are inquired.Secondly,according to the selected perceptual vocabulary,the relevant pictures are collected and arranged to make an image board.Based on the image board,the characteristic elements are extracted,and a preliminary drawing is made.Three modeling sketches,and finally the sketch elements are coded,the BP neural network is used to evaluate the three sketch schemes,and the optimal scheme is selected to build a 3D model.Therefore,in the modeling design,the research can be carried out according to the theory and process of Kansei Engineering,using the collected perceptual vocabulary and deconstructed design elements,based on the BP neural network to build a light tactical vehicle modeling image evaluation model.This research provides theoretical and practical guidance for designers to carry out styling design work,and can bring some inspiration to related styling design fields in the future.
