There are a large number of cantilevered wind and rain bridges in the Hunan-Guangxi border area.They are an important member of the ancient bridge system in China.After hundreds of years of construction,they have become a part of the cultural heritage of Chinese national architecture and witnessed the development of social economy and national culture.The outrigger wind and rain bridges in the Hunan-Guangxi border area have regional and ethnic characteristics due to the geographical environment and ethnic composition of the distribution area.Through the analysis of different levels and angles,this study attempts to form a clearer understanding of its cultural background,architectural form and structural characteristics,so as to provide some ideas for the protection of the boom type wind and rain bridge.The first level:Through literature reading,this paper analyzes the natural and cultural backgrounds that affect the emergence and development of the outrigger wind and rain bridge in the Hunan-Guangxi border area.The second level:Through field investigation,statistics and analysis of the existing cantilever wind and rain bridges in the Hunan-Guangxi border area are carried out,and the general characteristics of the cantilever wind and rain bridges are summarized,and five representative ones are selected based on different cantilever structure types.Wind and Rain Bridges—Hongjun Bridge,Huilong Bridge,Puji Bridge,Huifu Bridge,Yongding Bridge,are prepared for the follow-up in-depth study.The third level:Focusing on the five cantilevered wind and rain bridges,in-depth research is carried out from two aspects of architectural form and structural characteristics.In the part of architectural form,it analyzes the plane form,facade form and spatial sequence of the wind and rain bridge,excavates the relationship between the architectural form and functional attributes of the extended arm wind and rain bridge,makes mathematical analysis from a scientific perspective through the comparative study of five bridges,and finds the individuality and commonness of each bridge in the architectural form.In the part of structural features,through modeling five wind and rain bridges,starting from the bridge foundation structure,bridge body structure and bridge house structure,the hierarchical relationship of the structure texture of the cantilevered wind and rain bridge is analyzed,and the construction of each structure is excavated.The characteristics of the way,structural shape,and force mode were compared and studied,and a more scientific understanding of the structure of the five wind and rain bridges was obtained.The fourth level:Taking Hongjun Bridge in Longsheng County as an example,the current situation investigation and analysis and value factor mining are carried out.According to the architectural form and structural characteristics,and the current situation investigation results,scientific protection standards are sorted out and appropriate protection design is carried out.This study intends to gain an in-depth understanding of the architectural features of the cantilevered wind and rain bridges by excavating the architectural form and structural characteristics of the five wind and rain bridges.Through the relevant protection design of the Hongjun Bridge,it is expected to provide methodological inspiration for the excavation of the architectural culture of the cantilevered wind and rain bridge in the Hunan-Guangxi border area and the protection of the entity of the wind and rain bridge.
