| In the context of rapid urbanization,the highly concentrated urbanized lifestyle has brought a series of environmental problems to historic and cultural districts.Water environment problems such as internal flooding and stormwater runoff pollution are a serious aspect that restricts the sustainable development of historic and cultural districts.In the process of conservation and regeneration of historic and cultural districts,sponge city construction is a comprehensive and systematic way to solve the water environment problems in the districts.At present,there are few studies on sponge city renovation and sponge city suitability evaluation specifically for historical and cultural districts in China.Based on protecting the historical heritage and texture of historical and cultural districts,it is important to construct a quantitative sponge city construction suitability evaluation model and develop a reasonable sponge city construction method.Based on two aspects of sponge city construction in historical and cultural districts and the progress of sponge city suitability evaluation research,this paper sorts out and discusses the shortcomings of sponge city suitability evaluation research at the present stage and looks forward to future research methods for sponge city construction suitability evaluation in historical and cultural districts.This paper divides the suitability of sponge city construction into the suitability of construction conditions and suitability of construction needs and establishes an index system for evaluating the suitability of sponge city construction in historical and cultural districts from three aspects:natural ecology,social economy,and urban morphology while corresponding the above indexes to different sponge city construction technologies to build an index system for evaluating the suitability of sponge city construction technologies.Field research,big data,and ArcGIS are used to obtain and analyze data,and a BP neural network model is constructed using MATLAB software to evaluate the suitability of sponge city construction and sponge city construction technology in historical and cultural districts.Taking the Heping District of Tianjin as an example,the historical and cultural districts in the region were selected for sponge city construction and sponge city technology suitability evaluation,and based on the evaluation results,the districts with different levels of suitability for sponge city construction and the areas within the districts suitable for different technology construction were derived.According to the evaluation results of this paper,the Anshan Road Historic and Cultural District and the Central Garden Historic and Cultural District in the study area are highly suitable for construction;the Five Avenues Historic and Cultural District,the Persuasion Historic and Cultural District and the Chifeng Road Historic and Cultural District are basically suitable for construction;the Chengde Road Historic and Cultural District,the Jiefang North Road Historic and Cultural District and the Taian Road Historic and Cultural District are barely suitable for construction and not suitable for construction.Firstly,the timing of the construction of sponge city construction sites is determined at regional level,and secondly the layout of sponge city technical facilities is planned at site level,with a combination of different technical facilities laid out according to the suitability evaluation level of each technology.Different measures are then selected for specific site conditions in different built environments such as residential areas,commercial and public service areas,parkland and road systems.Based on the above overall renovation strategy,two typical historical and cultural districts were finally selected for the analysis and design of the renovation scheme. |
