Development Strategy Transform Of Historic Districts In Innercity Of Xi"an

The historical block is significant envidence to the development of the Urban History. There will be many relics which came form the development of the city during year after year, they constitute the absolutely personality landscape in the historic section. In urban development we should pay attention to protecting the various factors and typical space in historic area, so that the city can continue it's historical cultural view. Thus,in the old city reconstruction we must put the analysis of historical area feature in the first place, that could provide the most basic data and real basis to the next step, protect and continue the feature of area space landscape.The shunchen lane is a very important historical zone surrounded by the ancient wall of xi'an old city, which had experienced more than once reconstruction, still has many problems. This project thesis through on-the-spot investigation in reconstructed shunchen lane to find it's main existing problems, integrated use of Broad architecture and Organic update theory, combined with the unique cultural history environment in xi'an, in order to puts forward some principle and method which can bring more benefit to old city sustainable development and improve the quality of living environment.Through previous period research and analysis, the thesis points out that the development of shunchen lane should be set up on architecture, city, landscape, which is a trinity basis. Through respect the history environment, protect the authenticity of real historical information carrier, development and integrate tourism value, improve the quality of residents life and environmental quality in order to achieve the maximum benefit; Only in this way, can stimulate the region's energy, promote the sustainable development of the old city.Finally, we will applied the updated principle and method to the reconstruction practise in part of the shunchen lane from guangren temple to small north gate, and draw a detailed analysis in it, so we can get some history block reformation strategy which fit for the regional characteristic of Xi'an.
