Transition space is a space form widely used in buildings in Guangzhou.It has universality and diversity,plays an important role,embodies a green way of behavior,and even becomes the gene of architectural culture in this area.Study the transition space that can carry behavior activities,take the spatial behavior as the guidance,tap the functional potential and energysaving potential of the transition activity space,re understand the comprehensive value of the transition activity space,and replace the "full-time and whole region" model with the "timesharing and zoning" energy consumption model,in line with the people-centered development concept and the dual carbon development strategy.This study takes the transition activity space of Guangzhou University teaching buildings as the research object,discusses the relationship between its space elements and the behavior of users,reveals the space and environmental elements affecting the use behavior of transition activity space,makes its space design fit the needs of users,improves space comfort and space utilization rate,improves the actual use value of transition activity space,and improves the space quality of teaching and learning,Provide new ideas and methods for innovative teaching space design.Through sample measurement and data collection,taking the vitality of spatial behavior as the dependent variable and various elements of space as the independent variable,the research carries out empirical research on the vitality of spatial behavior,various elements of space and their relevance,and explores the ideal spatial model to meet the needs of users’ behavior,so as to optimize the spatial design strategies and methods,in order to improve the scientificity of spatial design and provide a rational and objective design basis for the design of transition activity space.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly discusses the research background,object,content,purpose and significance;It systematically combs the research status of transition activity space,space and behavior research,public space research of university teaching buildings and so on;The research method and technical route are clarified.The second chapter first arranges the external representation elements and index weighting methods of behavior vitality through literature research,and comprehensively analyzes the spatial behavior characteristics of transition activities of teaching buildings in Colleges and universities,and determines the data acquisition method of spatial behavior vitality and the establishment method of evaluation model.Secondly,starting from the attribute characteristics of the transition activity space,this paper combs the spatial and environmental element index system of the behavior vitality of the transition activity space,and determines its quantitative evaluation method.The third chapter analyzes the principles of spatial sample selection and the methods of investigation and measurement.A total of 50 transitional activity spaces of teaching buildings in Colleges and universities in Guangzhou(including 25 public teaching buildings and 25 department teaching buildings)are selected to analyze and sort out the basic spatial element information of each sample in detail.The fourth chapter is the correlation research of "space behavior",including the correlation research of behavior vitality space elements and behavior vitality space environment elements.Firstly,the correlation research methods are analyzed,and the steps and methods of data analysis are put forward.In the research on the correlation between behavior and spatial elements,due to the different characteristics of behavior activities,the comprehensive score quantification and regression analysis of behavior vitality and spatial elements of two types of transition activity spaces of public teaching buildings and department teaching buildings are carried out respectively,and the combination of spatial elements with significant correlation and the influence contribution level of each spatial element are obtained respectively.On this basis,the differences between them are compared and analyzed.In the study of behavior space environment correlation,some samples are selected to establish behavior vitality evaluation models in different periods,and score quantification and regression analysis are carried out to obtain the relevant environmental elements.According to the analysis results of behavior space element combination and behavior space environment element,the fifth chapter puts forward the space optimization design strategy for the behavior space element correlation of the transition activity space of public teaching buildings and department teaching buildings,and puts forward the environmental regulation design strategy in different periods as the design supplement.
