With the rapid development of my country’s economy and people’s yearning for a better life,the consumption structure of residents has been gradually upgraded,from the previous "material consumption" to more emphasis on "spiritual and cultural consumption".People’s higher and higher demand for cultural level has greatly promoted the rapid development of China’s cultural and creative industries,and popular culture,as a culture with the characteristics of the times,is widely loved and enthusiastically followed by the public,and it is also more and more influential.in every aspect of public life.How to combine the design of cultural and creative products as a carrier of cultural communication with popular elements and how to use popular hotspots for design creation deserves in-depth study.In view of this,this paper takes the development status of popular culture and cultural and creative products as the starting point,and uses the literature research method and market research method to analyze the influence of popular culture on the design of cultural and creative products.The method conducts consumer demand research on mainstream consumer groups,captures popular trends that meet user needs,and conducts a comparative analysis of cultural and creative product cases from the perspective of consumer research results,so as to summarize the cultural experience in cultural and creative product consumption.Through the research,it summarizes and proposes a design strategy for cultural and creative products focusing on popular culture,that is,focusing on thematic ideas to mine popular cultural elements,drawing on popular product forms for cross-border integration,and adapting to popular market trends to help cultural dissemination;at the same time,based on cultural experience as a theoretical basis,supported by three major strategies,and further summarized the specific design methods,including the integration of fashion elements,interesting interaction methods,and storytelling into the design of cultural and creative products,corresponding to enhancing the aesthetic experience,interactive experience and emotional experience.Cultural and creative product innovation is of great significance to cultural inheritance and development.The cultural and creative product design strategies and methods proposed in this paper under the background of popular culture have been further verified in design practice,and have a certain reference effect on making good use of cultural resources and helping to promote and inherit culture.The design of cultural and creative products needs to continuously combine the trend of popular culture,conform to the development of the times,focus on the trend of the popular market,and start from meeting the needs and aesthetics of the public,and constantly improve the cultural quality of products to promote the sustainable development of the industry.
