Research On The Information Visualization Design Of Urban Natural Disaster Emergency Response Manuals

China’s natural disasters are complex,seriously restricting the level of urban development,and posing a threat to the safety of people’s lives and property,according to statistics,in recent years,China’s natural disasters have caused the number of victims,deaths and direct economic losses have generally shown an upward trend.Since entering the new period,China’s national defense disaster reduction work has changed from focusing on post-disaster rescue to focusing on pre-disaster prevention,strengthening emergency science popularization and education,and comprehensively improving the safety quality of the whole people.As an important way for the public to obtain emergency knowledge,the emergency manual has certain limitations in information communication,and boring written professional knowledge will increase the cognitive load of the public.With its logical,intuitive and effective expression form,information visualization design has shown excellence in public emergencies in recent years.Therefore,this project will explore the information visualization design of the urban natural disaster emergency response manual that provides the public with "prevention first" as the starting point,review the information visualization design,and determine that information visualization can present urban natural disaster emergency response knowledge in a "logical","intuitive" and "effective" way based on relevant theories.The design method of information visualization of urban emergency manual is proposed from three aspects,first,the types of urban natural disasters are sorted out,and the "three-dimensional" system design of information visualization is proposed based on design pain points and practical experience at home and abroad.Second,aiming at the composition of information visualization,it is clear that information visualization undertakes the task of deepening cognition,and the design of "anthropomorphic" elements of information visualization is proposed.Third,aiming at the analysis of information visualization and presentation problems,the "highlighted" color design of information visualization is proposed to reduce the public’s cognitive load and enhance the emergency extension function.It is hoped that through the intervention of information visualization,it can propose a reference path for emergency science popularization and safety culture construction,and help the city’s emergency soft capacity to move forward,deepen the public’s awareness of emergency risk avoidance,improve the quality of national safety culture,and truly realize the concept of "good life,life first".
