| Rural ecological environmental governance is crucial to the construction of a beautiful countryside in the new era.The improvement of villagers’ living environment and happiness cannot be achieved without the implementation of rural ecological environmental governance.Under the promotion of the rural revitalization policy and the construction of beautiful countryside, the ecological environment governance in China’s rural areas is moving forward methodically and has achieved good results. However, the ecological environment governance in rural areas cannot rely solely on the government, but also needs the active participation of villagers. However, due to the backward cognition of some villagers, the strong driving force of villagers as the main participants remains to be explored. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influencing factors of villagers’ willingness to participate in rural ecological environment governance.Based on the background of rural ecological environment governance, taking villagers’ willingness to participate in rural ecological environment governance as the research object, theoretical analysis and empirical test were carried out on the influencing factors of villagers’ willingness to participate.Based on the collective action theory and ABC attitude theory, this paper sorts out the influencing factors involved in villagers’ participation in rural ecological environment governance, the degree of influence of these influencing factors on their participation intention and the interaction between related factors, constructs a theoretical model of villagers’ participation intention in rural ecological environment governance and proposes a research hypothesis.Statistical analysis was used to study the influence degree of influencing factors on villagers’ willingness to participate in rural ecological environment governance.Structural equation was used to analyze the action path of influencing factors on villagers’ willingness to participate in rural ecological environment governance. The mediation effect of local identity and face concept was studied through Bootstrapping method. The effects of socio-demographic factors(age, gender, education level)were studied by multi-group analysis, and reasonable countermeasures and suggestions were put forward for the research conclusions. This study draws the following conclusions:(1)Awareness of environmental governance, economic incentives, knowledge of environmental governance, local identity and concept of face have significant positive effects on villagers’ willingness to participate in rural ecological and environmental governance. That is,village collective incentives, government subsidies and punishments will improve the willingness of villagers to participate in rural ecological environment governance.Rural residents with higher knowledge of environmental governance, higher awareness of environmental governance, higher sense of local identity and stronger sense of face are more willing to participate in rural ecological and environmental governance.(2)Local identity and the concept of face play a mediating role.Local identity has mediating effect on the influence of environmental governance cognition, knowledge and economic incentives on participation intention of environmental governance. The concept of face has mediating effect on the influence of local identity and economic incentive on participation intention of environmental governance.(3)Through multi-group analysis,it is found that gender, age and education level have significant effects on some hypothesis paths. For example, gender plays a significant role in environmental governance knowledge and local identity, local identity and face concept, economic incentive and face concept, face concept and participation intention, environmental governance knowledge and participation intention, economic incentive and participation intention, local identity and participation intention. |
