As the number of older people increases,ageing in place is gradually becoming an important form of ageing.Ageing in place allows older people to be cared for and supported in a familiar family environment,while also reducing the cost and stress of elderly care services.As a result,more and more older people and families are placing emphasis on ageing in place and are looking to improve the living environment and quality of life of older people through various means.Against this social background,research and development of intelligent furniture suitable for use by the elderly can effectively improve the quality of life and convenience of the elderly,as well as better meet their needs and expectations.At the same time,this is also one of the important directions for the development of the intelligent furniture industry.The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of physiological and psychological changes on the home behaviour of self-care elderly people over 60 years old,as well as the problems,needs and expectations of the elderly in terms of smart furniture.To this end,this study used the test method,interview method and in-home observation method to measure and analyse the physical dimensional changes and home behaviour of the elderly,and the questionnaire method to obtain the usage problems,functional needs and purchase intentions of the elderly with regard to smart furniture.The analysis and induction method was used to investigate and summarise representative smart furniture products and technologies in the market.The design principles and requirements of smart furniture for the elderly were finally proposed,and the smart bed product was taken as an example,combining the Kano model,AHP analysis and situational FBS model to design a smart bed product that meets the needs of the elderly.The main results are as follows:1)Through the measurement of 16 elderly people in the district,it was found that it can be concluded that the height of the elderly is generally lower than that of the 30 years old period when they enter their old age,with a difference of about 2% in height;the physical mobility of the elderly is lower than the normal value level;in terms of muscle strength,both male and female,the muscle strength value of the elderly is about 20% lower than that of the youth.From the household observations and interviews with two representative families,it can be found that the characteristics of the current problems in the bedrooms of the elderly mainly include unsatisfactory bed comfort,cluttered wardrobes which the elderly like to keep handy,and more trivial items at the head of the bed.2)Through the 310 valid questionnaires collected on the Internet,it was found that 23.55%of the elderly felt that the current furniture has the problem of poor flexibility and irreadjustment;23.23% of the elderly feel that the backrest of the bed is uncomfortable and that it feels very compatible to sit and lean on the bed for a long time;25.48% of the elderly feel that the current furniture lacks intelligence.In addition,market research was conducted on bedroom furniture,summarizing and concluding several aspects such as product size,features,selling price and shape,as well as analysis the dabble technology of smart furniture at the present stage,from which a suitable hardware and software operation for the elderly group was selected to provide feasibility for the following programme design.3)According to the above research and analysis,the design principles and design points of intelligent furniture for the elderly are summarized,and it is found that the bed in the bedroom of the elderly is the most frequently used and the most problematic furniture,so combined with Kano model,AHP analysis method,scenario FBS model method to design the elderly bed,by redefining the structure of the elderly bed,combined with intelligent technology,through humanized interaction mode,it solves the problems of difficulty in getting up,poor sleep,sedentary and easy fatigue for the elderly,and provides a convenient lifestyle for the elderly.Improve the quality of life of the elderly.4)Using the questionnaire form,10 professionals and 30 elderly people who meet the design group are selected to evaluate the design scheme from the aspects of intelligence,appearance,material safety,operation convenience and comfort,and only a very small number of people feel that the operation is convenient,and most people think that the smart bed products designed this time are reasonable. |
