| At present, China has entered the aging society. The population base is too large,So future elderly population will continue to grow. Related to older industries are riseand develop constantly. The elderly toys on the market is very scarce and there is a bigproblem. Mainly in: theory and data on older toys is still incomplete and systematic;the existing classics of older toys for years have no major breakthrough. Innovativedesign upon older toy has become bounden duty.This paper, by the elderly toys available on the market analysis study, obtain theproblems of older toys, focus on older people’s physical characteristics, psychologicalcharacteristics, educational level, economic characteristics, life and hobbies, andsummarize the characteristics of the elderly demand for toys. Security, affordable, easyidentifiable, interesting, cultural connotations, and other elements are introduced to thewhole process of toys design in order to enrich related design theory, and designprinciples; using the concept of people-oriented to design the elderly toys user-friendly,makes design of form and function to be more in line with the principles of ergonomicsand innovative.This article is divided into a total of seven chapters: Introduction, old toy relatedcontents, old toys analysis, analysis of elderly users, analysis on the principle of designelements of older toys, new design practices of the elderly toys. |
