Research On Smart City Furniture Design

With the continuous development of science and technology,people’s lifestyles have also changed accordingly.Intelligent design is becoming more and more popular among the public,and traditional design methods can no longer meet the needs of people’s lives.The gradual increase in urban population has caused the phenomenon of "Urban Disease" to become increasingly serious.It is an inevitable trend to solve the problems of urban development,realize the sustainable development of cities,and build "Smart City".As the main carrier of urban public space,urban furniture takes into account the multi-dimensionality of its users and the diversity of users.Smart design is bound to meet the prerequisite of universal design,while possessing the unique interactivity and interaction of modern technology.Gameplay puts forward higher requirements for the design of smart city furniture,and research on smart city furniture has also become an important topic.This paper studies "Smart City Furniture" from two perspectives of theory and practice.First,it analyses the overview and development trend of city furniture and the design practice of smart city furniture at home and abroad.Second,it explains the concept of smart city furniture,and analysis of applicable smart technology.Third,it analyses the design methods of smart city furniture,including four aspects about that the integration of regional culture,carrying the design concept of "The Integration of Things and Man",modular design and the application of smart city furniture.Fourth,it summarizes the design forms of smart city furniture,including natural curves,modern deconstruction curves,broken lines,and service design expression forms.Fifth,it bases on the previous design method research and the research results of design expression forms have carried out experimental research on smart city furniture,and tried two sets of smart city furniture design schemes with different expression forms of broken lines and curves.In summary,this article studies the design concepts,design methods,design expression forms and design practices of smart city furniture,and provides a basis and reference for the subsequent research and practice of city furniture.
