With the intensification of global climate change,China has become the world’s second largest economy,and its commitment to the world is to achieve carbon peak,carbon neutrality,and transform it into the feasibility of sustainable development.Therefore,China is currently at a critical moment to reduce carbon emissions and improve the quality of the ecological environment,striving to promote green development.How to balance economic and social development with the "dual carbon" strategy,explore the compatibility between industrial civilization and ecological civilization,and occupy the commanding heights of global green development and low-carbon competition is a highly challenging and significant task facing China today.Based on the analysis of the impact of industrial intelligence on industrial carbon emission efficiency in 11 provinces of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,this thesis first theoretically analyzes the relationship between industrial intelligence and industrial carbon emission efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,and proposes some corresponding research assumptions.Select an SBM model considering undesired output to measure the industrial carbon emission efficiency values of 11 provinces in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,rank them according to their carbon emission efficiency values,and analyze the regional differences in carbon emission efficiency;Select the penetration of industrial robots as an indicator to measure the level of industrial intelligence in various provinces,rank them,and analyze the differences in the level of industrial intelligence in the upper,middle,and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Secondly,a two-way fixed effect model was established to verify the impact of industrial intelligence on carbon emission efficiency,confirming the correctness of the research hypothesis.Subsequently,the intermediary effect and regional heterogeneity of its impact mechanism were tested.Based on the conclusions of empirical research,this article draws the following conclusions: The industrial carbon emission efficiency of 11 provinces in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has gradually improved,but is higher in the east and lower in the west.The industrial carbon emission efficiency of the upstream,middle and downstream is obviously different,and the carbon emission efficiency of the downstream is greater than that of the midstream and also greater than that of the upstream;The level of industrial intelligence is extremely unbalanced,and the level of industrial intelligence in the upstream region is the weakest;Industrial intelligence can improve industrial carbon emission efficiency through two ways: improving the level of green technology innovation and improving energy utilization efficiency,and the role of energy utilization efficiency in improving industrial carbon emission efficiency is greater than that of green technology innovation;Through the analysis of regional heterogeneity in the upper,middle,and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,it is found that industrial intelligence has the best effect on improving industrial carbon emission efficiency in the lower reaches,followed by the middle reaches,and the weakest in the upper reaches.Based on the above conclusions,this thesis puts forward the following suggestions:promote the industrial intelligent reform in the provinces of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,make full use of the driving role of green technology innovation level and energy utilization efficiency,and promote the improvement of industrial carbon emission efficiency;We will formulate targeted and differentiated policies,leverage the leading advantages of downstream regions,stabilize the level of intelligent industrial development in midstream regions,increase investment in upstream scientific and technological innovation,identify weak points,and improve the level of intelligent development.
