With the continuous growth of the population,human demand for housing and food is increasing,the conflict between humans and land is becoming more and more prominent,and environmental issues have become an important challenge for human beings.Secondary school students who are in their adolescence,are responsible for ecological environmental protection and reconstruction,and their level of environmental literacy will affect the healthy and sustainable development of our ecological environment.Especially for secondary school students of resource and environment majors,the level of environmental literacy directly affects their professional development and the quality level of resource and environment talents training in China.Then,what is the level of environmental literacy of middle-level resource and environment students,and how to measure their environmental literacy level becomes the urgent need for the development of middle-level resource and environment majors at present.This study compares the current situation and progress of domestic and foreign research on environmental literacy and environmental literacy assessment takes the resource and environment students of M School as the assessment object and uses literature analysis,Delphi method,hierarchical analysis,questionnaire survey,and other methods to construct an environmental literacy assessment system for secondary school resource and environment students by starting from the connotation of environmental literacy.The research process and conclusions are as follows.(1)The definition of environmental literacy is defined,and the specific indicators of environmental literacy assessment are clarified.In this study,environmental literacy is defined as a synthesis of environmental knowledge as the basis,environmental attitude as the internal driving force,and environmental behavior as the external manifestation,which is gradually formed by individuals in social practice activities.Through literature research and expert consultation,3 primary indicators and 11 secondary indicators of the environmental literacy assessment system for secondary school students of resources and environment were determined,the primary indicators are environmental knowledge,environmental attitude,and environmental behavior,among which environmental knowledge includes three aspects of basic knowledge of the natural environment,basic knowledge of environmental issues,environmental policies,and regulations;environmental attitude includes a willingness to protect the environment,environmental emotion,environmental responsibility,and Environmental attitudes include willingness to protect the environment,environmental emotions,environmental responsibility,and environmental values;environmental behaviors include ecological management behaviors,consumption behaviors,persuasive and discouraging behaviors,and educational behaviors.(2)The weights of the indicators of the environmental literacy assessment system for secondary school resource and environment students were determined.According to the determined indicators,the judgment matrix of the weights of environmental literacy indicators for secondary school resource and environment students was constructed,the weights of each indicator were determined by using hierarchical analysis,and the calculation model of environmental literacy measurement for secondary school resource and environment students was obtained:environmental literacy = 0.228 A + 0.375 B + 0.397 C,where A is environmental knowledge,B is the environmental attitude,and C is environmental behavior.(3)Developed a vocational school resource and environmental student environmental literacy assessment scale.The scale was revised by conducting a factor analysis and reliability and validity analyses.The results of the scale showed that the environmental literacy of the students was at a high level,and the students performed well in environmental knowledge,but there was still room for improvement in environmental behaviors,and the students had the current situation of "knowing more than doing".Although the students’ environmental behaviors are a bit lacking,their overall performance is positive.In summary,this study has made a preliminary exploration and a useful attempt to construct an environmental literacy assessment system for secondary school students of resources and environment,with certain operability and generalizability.It is expected to provide reference and reference for further research on environmental literacy assessment.
