The Research On Carrying Out Environmental Literacy By Using Local Environmental Resources In The Education Of Chemistry

Existence and development are a lasting theme in human society and the environment is the foundation of human livelihood and its development .As the global environmental crisis is increasingly worse, people come to realize that only by strengthening environmental education and increasing the public awareness of the environment, can we find the best way to solve the problem of the environment. Middle school students are the 21st century pillars, so it's urgent and significant that environmental education should be carried out in the middle school.This article discusses emphatically the contents and the ways of the environmental education using the local environment resources, which is based on the scientific development and sustainable development and the environment science theory, and which is combined with the law of the middle school student cognitive development and is analyzing the documents, making some surveys and doing some practice. First, the essay summarizes the basic theory on environmental education and clarifies its basic connotation; meanwhile, the article gives the outline introduction to the development of domestic and foreign environmental education to form the whole understanding of environmental education. Next, the article carries out the analysis to the local environmental resources in this city and introduces the resource, superiority according to the ecological environment resources and the industry resources; after understanding the local present environmental situation, it's most important that the middle school students'environmental protection knowledge should be increase and that their environmental skills should also be enhanced and that their environmental protection behavior should be strengthened; it's necessary that the effective ways to carry out environmental education should be make full use of exploring the local environmental resources in all kinds of ways and means and be got the feedback through practice and at last, the article summarizes the effective ways and methods to carry out the environmental education using the local environmental resources.It∪?roved through that practice local environment is rich in environmental education resources. It's convenient and feasible for the teacher to make use of locally available materials by carrying out environmental education using these local resources, and it's closely practical for the student to be willing to take part in it. It doesn't only improve the student's environment accomplishment but instructs the student in understanding the environment in their hometown correctly and the student makes his own great contribution to improve their hometown. Simultaneously, I expect that it can provide a little reference for environmental education in local other schools and also makes a contribution for chemistry teaching reform in the middle school.
