Evaluation And Influencing Factors Of Green Development Of Logistics Industry In Three Provinces In Central China

With the rapid development of cloud computing,Internet of Things,blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies,the logistics industry has entered a stage of rapid development.However,the relatively extensive logistics development mode in the past has caused serious resource consumption and environmental damage.In order to meet the requirements of the sustainable development of The Times,the logistics industry must pay attention to the high efficiency,energy saving,green environmental protection issues to develop,the green development of logistics industry has become an inevitable trend.The three provinces in Central China are one of the most developed areas in the logistics industry.They are important comprehensive transportation hubs and information flow centers of human flow and logistics,as well as high density areas of energy consumption and carbon emission in the logistics industry.The green and efficient development of the three provinces in Central China plays a significant role in the region and even in the transformation and upgrading of the economic development of our country.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the green development of logistics industry in the three provinces in Central China.This paper takes the three provinces in Central China as the research object,firstly establishes the evaluation index system for the green development of logistics industry in the three provinces in Central China,and then uses three single evaluation methods,namely principal component analysis,entropy weight topsis method and grey relational analysis method,to measure the green development level of logistics industry in the three provinces in Central China respectively.The method of deviation minimization was used to make a combination evaluation of the calculated results of three single evaluation methods.Finally,the index of level evaluation was taken as the obstacle factor,and the obstacle degree model was constructed to analyze the main factors affecting the green development of logistics industry in the three provinces in central China,and specific countermeasures and suggestions were put forward for the green development of logistics industry.The main findings are as follows:（1）From 2006 to 2020,the logistics infrastructure in the three provinces and regions in Central China developed well.The added value of the logistics industry grew rapidly from 2018,while the number of employees in the logistics industry grew slowly.The total energy consumption and total CO₂emission of the logistics industry grew rapidly,and the damage to the environment was relatively serious.（2）From the general trend,the green development level of the logistics industry in the three provinces in Central China showed a continuous rising trend from 2006 to 2020,and entered a rapid growth stage in 2018.The green development level value of the logistics industry increased from 0.080 in 2006 to 0.721 in 2020.From the perspective of regional situation,the green development trend of the logistics industry in the three provinces in Central China is similar to the overall development trend,which has entered a period of rapid development since 2018.The green development level of the logistics industry in Henan has been basically leading,and Hubei and Hunan are ranked second and third.（3）Overall analysis of the three provinces in Central China from the criterion level:from2006 to 2020,the scale of logistics industry and infrastructure barriers have always been high;Environmental and energy barriers gradually rise to the top;The level of informatization,the intensity of development support and the degree of barriers to personnel input have decreased.The three provinces and provinces in Central China are analyzed from the index level.From the three provinces in Central China as a whole,the top 7 obstacle factors are the total volume of post and telecommunications business,the number of civilian cars,the Internet broadband access port,the energy consumption of logistics industry,the CO₂ emission of logistics industry,the investment in environmental pollution control,and the added value of logistics industry.From the perspective of provinces,the top 3 obstacle factors in Hubei Province are the total amount of post and telecommunications business,the number of civil cars,and the Internet broadband access port.The top 3 obstacle factors in Hunan Province are the total number of posts and telecommunications business,the number of employees in the logistics industry and the number of civilian cars.The top 3 obstacle factors in Henan Province are the total amount of telecommunication business,urban area and energy consumption of logistics industry.
