| With the rapid development of digitization around the world,digitization has become an important driving force for our country to improve economic efficiency.In the 14 th FiveYear Plan,The State Council clearly points out that digital development should be accelerated to strengthen the new engine of economic development,which provides new opportunities for the efficient development of Chinese economy.Digital development input has advantages such as resource sharing,network cooperation and economies of scale,which can better optimize the allocation of factors and facilitate transactions.It is the key core to promote the development of economic efficiency.Therefore,to further explore its influence mechanism and analyze its influence effect is of great significance to improve the level of digitalization and promote the improvement of economic efficiency.This paper selects 38 Chinese cities as research objects and analyzes the influence of Chinese digital level on urban economic efficiency based on panel data multiple regression model.First of all,the research status of digitization level and urban economic efficiency at home and abroad is analyzed,sorted out and summarized.The basic concepts of digitization,digital technology,urban economic efficiency and total factor productivity are analyzed,and the relevant theories of digitalization and economic efficiency are sorted out.Explore the influence mechanism of digitization level on urban economic efficiency.Secondly,based on the relevant data of 38 cities from 2013 to 2020,the DEAMalmquist index method is used to measure the urban economic efficiency,and the total factor productivity values of each city are analyzed and compared from the perspectives of time,city and region.The index system of digitization level evaluation is established,and the cross entropy method is used to measure the digitization level of the city and make a comprehensive analysis.Thirdly,total factor productivity and its decomposition index were set as explained variables,digitalization level as explanatory variable,and economic development level,level of opening to the outside world,industrial structure and government intervention as control variables.Panel regression models of fixed and random effects were selected to study the impact of digitalization on urban economic efficiency from the perspectives of overall,group and subdivision digitalization.The results show that the digitalization level significantly promotes the improvement of urban economic efficiency.Finally,according to the results of panel regression analysis,relevant policy suggestions are put forward from two aspects: government strengthening policy guarantee to improve digitization level and enterprises speeding up digital transformation to improve economic efficiency. |
