Research On Logistics Efficiency Of Yangtze River Economic Belt Based On Dea And Malmquist Index Model

The process of regional economic integration is constantly accelerating.The logistics industry is a basic industry to ensure sustainable economic development.It has a significant driving role in regional economic growth.Regional logistics can achieve cross-regional industrial information exchange and accelerate the rational and orderly flow of production factors.An important supporting industry for the booming regional economy can promote interregional exchanges and cooperation and promote the process of economic integration.Logistics efficiency is an important basis for measuring the development level of the logistics industry and one of the indicators for judging the quality of economic development.Only by improving efficiency can the stable and sustainable development of the logistics industry be promoted and the healthy development of the economy.The Yangtze river economic belt runs through the three major regions of east,central and west China,with its unique geographical advantages and huge development potential of the logistics industry.The improvement of logistics efficiency can drive the economic development of the surrounding provinces and even the whole country.From the development of logistics industry in the provinces and cities of the Yangtze river economic belt,there are big differences within the region.Therefore,the research on the logistics efficiency of the provinces and cities in the Yangtze river economic belt can clearly understand the development of the logistics industry in the region,help to find out the problems and seek for solutions,which is of great benefit to the development of the Yangtze river economic belt and has very important practical significance.Based on this,the paper summarizes the theories related to logistics efficiency and the research literature related to logistics efficiency at home and abroad,and expounds the development of logistics industry in the Yangtze river economic belt from the aspects of overall development,infrastructure and information level.Established an evaluation index system for the input-output efficiency of the logistics industry,expounded the basic principles of data envelopment analysis(DEA)and the Malmquist index method,and based on the statistical data of the provinces and cities of the Yangtze river economic belt from 2010 to 2017,the data envelopment analysis method(DEA)was used to static analyze the logistics efficiency of the provinces and cities of the Yangtze river economic belt,and the comprehensive technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency were discussed from the perspectives of the whole,the region and the provinces.Then,based on the Malmquist index method,the productivity of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze river economic belt was dynamically analyzed,and the factors affecting the productivity of the logistics industry in these provinces and cities were further analyzed.The study found that There is room to improve the logistics efficiency of the Yangtze river economic belt,midstream and downstream regional logistics efficiency difference obvious,be badly in need of strengthening regional exchanges and cooperation,promote regional cooperation,is located in the downstream of the provinces and cities logistics input-output efficiency is higher,in the upstream of the provinces,cities and the phenomenon of insufficient between inputs and outputs,technological progress is one of the important factors affecting the impact efficiency changes.Finally,according to the actual situation of the Yangtze river economic belt,put forward specific Suggestions.
