With the rapid development of information technology in China and the revision of the Vocational Education Law of the China,the development of vocational education has become more and more important,and the reform of teaching methods will continue to advance.Through preliminary investigation,this study found that in the course of "Plant Production and Environment" in vocational schools,teachers often use traditional teaching methods,resulting in certain shortcomings in classroom teaching effectiveness and poor learning status for students.Micro course video resources have the advantages of being short and concise,vivid and interesting,highly interactive,and flexible.In the preliminary survey,most students expressed support for the application of micro courses in this course.Therefore,this study is conducted in the context of the continuous development of modern educational technology,aiming to explore whether the development and application of micro courses can have a positive impact on students’ learning status,and to provide some suggestions on how to develop and apply micro courses in this course.This study focuses on 53 students from Class 2 of Horticultural Technology Major(formerly Fruit,Vegetable and Flower Production Technology Major)at X Secondary Vocational School in Tianshui City,Gansu Province.Modern educational science research methods such as questionnaire survey,interview,and observation were used,and constructivist learning theory,multiple intelligence theory,and audio-visual education theory were used to explain the necessity of applying micro courses in this course,as well as the tools developed Production methods and processes.At the same time,specific content will be presented using two cases: "plant nutrition" and "chemical fertilizers".After the application of micro courses,through interviews,classroom observations,and survey questionnaires,it was found that students in this vocational school have made significant improvements in the learning process of "Plant Production and Environment",and their learning interest and self-learning ability have significantly improved.Finally,this study proposes the following suggestions for the development and application of micro courses.One is in the development of micro courses:(1)Carefully analyze the task objective modules in the course "Plant Production and Environment",clarify the key and difficult content in the teaching process,and design targeted micro course teaching resources that align with the cognitive characteristics of vocational school students with a dynamic image.(2)The content of the knowledge learning module is more suitable for presentation in the form of cartoon animations,while the content of the ability development template is more suitable for presentation in the form of real-life recordings.(3)Set questions in micro courses to guide students to actively think and facilitate their understanding and digestion of knowledge.The second is in the application of micro courses:(1)By checking the completion of the preview task list,urge students to do a good pre class preview and improve the application effect of micro courses.(2)Organize students to actively discuss and carry out targeted classroom activities based on the teaching content presented in micro courses,ignite students’ interest and initiative in learning,and enable them to truly participate in the classroom.(3)Timely upload micro lessons to the class We Chat group,encourage students to repeatedly watch micro lesson video resources based on their own knowledge blind spots,and improve learning effectiveness.In summary,the research results of this article can provide some guidance for further exploring the application of micro courses in this course,and can provide some reference for promoting micro courses in other disciplines in the future. |
