In October 2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Modern Vocational Education,pointing out that we should deepen the reform of education and teaching,innovate teaching modes and methods,encourage project teaching,contextual teaching and modular teaching,and improve the quality of classroom teaching in order to cultivate technically skilled talents in demand by society.Teaching is the most basic form of education in school education,the key way to promote teaching reform is to promote the reform of teaching methods.The traditional teaching method ignores the main position of students,and teachers focus on filling in knowledge teaching,which is out of line with the current social and economic development of the training needs of talents,so promoting the change of teaching method becomes an important part of improving the quality of vocational education.The project-based learning method advocates a teacher-led,student-centered educational philosophy,emphasizing the integration of social production projects as the main line of activities,and under the guidance of teachers,students complete the mastery and understanding of knowledge through independent and cooperative learning,in order to cultivate comprehensive skilled talents who can adapt to the development of enterprises.Combined with the course characteristics of the basic course "Plant Production and Environment" of secondary school landscape technology,the project teaching method is introduced into the teaching practice of the course "Plant Production and Environment" with the purpose of improving the teaching quality,enhancing the learning interest of secondary school students and cultivating their vocational ability,which is a meaningful attempt to reform the teaching method.This study is based on the following objectives: first,we can enrich the theoretical basis of project-based teaching method in the course of "Plant Production and Environment";second,we can try to build a specific teaching implementation plan of the project teaching method in the course of Plant Production and Environment in secondary school under the guidance of constructivist learning theory and pragmatic teaching theory;third,we can combine theory and practice,to introduce the project teaching method in the teaching of the course of Plant Production and Environment in secondary school.The project teaching method was introduced in the teaching of "Plant Production and Environment" in secondary school,and the teaching effect was evaluated through questionnaires,student interviews and teaching reflections.From the feedback of the project teaching method,students were actively involved in the project activities in the classroom,and the project activities were carried out in an orderly manner among the groups,with a strong learning atmosphere.They think that the project teaching method has enhanced their interest and enthusiasm in learning,exercised their logical thinking ability,hands-on operation and language expression ability,and enhanced their vocational adaptability.
