Deepening the reform of vocational education and teaching,innovating teaching models and methods,and improving the quality of classroom teaching are one of the important measures to cultivate practical,technical and skilled talents and promote the high-quality development of modern vocational education.Integrating STEAM education concepts into secondary vocational teaching.It is the trend of deepening teaching reform.Focusing on the core issue of "how to integrate the STEAM education concept into the teaching of " Plant Production and Environment " in secondary vocational schools",this paper adopts the research methods such as literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,and conducts researches in the following three aspects:(1)The teaching design principles and general process construction of the secondary vocational "Plant Production and Environment" course based on the STEAM education concept;(2)The secondary vocational "Plant Production and Environment" course teaching design based on the STEAM education concept;(3)Based on STEAM The teaching design practice and effect analysis of the secondary vocational "Plant Production and Environment" course based on the educational concept.Firstly,through the literature review,this paper summarizes the research status of STEAM education and the integration of STEAM education concept and secondary vocational curriculum teaching design,and finds that the core point of STEAM education concept is integration and interdisciplinary,and the teaching mode is mainly project or problem-oriented.The evaluation method focuses on diversity.Secondly,starting from the characteristics of the STEAM education concept,combined with the characteristics of the secondary vocational "Plant Production and Environment" course,the teaching design principles and general process of the secondary vocational "Plant Production and Environment" course based on the STEAM education concept are determined.Instructional design principles include situational,comprehensive,practical and developmental principles.The process of teaching design includes five links:screening teaching content,conducting teaching analysis,formulating teaching objectives,designing teaching process and teaching evaluation.Then,according to the determined teaching design principles and general procedures,the appropriate STEAM educational resources in the course of "Plant Production and Environment" for agricultural-related majors in secondary vocational schools were excavated,and the"plastic film mulching technology" and "the application of organic material decomposing agent on straw decomposing" were completed.application" and "basic composition of soil" three specific teaching designs.Finally,choose "plastic film covering technology" to carry out teaching practice,and evaluate the effect of teaching practice.Through the analysis of student self-assessment scale,student activity record sheet and teacher interview results,it is found that the teaching design based on the STEAM concept has been recognized by teachers and students.problem solving and practical skills.The study believes that the teaching design of the "Plant Production and Environment" course in secondary vocational schools based on the STEAM education concept puts forward higher requirements for teachers’ professional ability and comprehensive quality,and it is necessary to cultivate secondary vocational students’ scientific literacy,humanistic literacy and sense of social responsibility,training technology.It has a good promotion effect with engineering practice skills,which can significantly improve students’ interest in learning,train students’ comprehensive professional skills,improve classroom teaching effects,and improve teaching quality.The teaching design of agricultural-related professional courses in secondary vocational schools based on the STEAM concept has good implementation and application value. |
