At present,China is vigorously developing vocational education and actively promoting the reform of secondary vocational education, and strengthening the construction of teaching materials is an effective way to deepen vocational education and teaching reform. This thesis compared the "Plant Production and Environment" textbooks of the "Higher Education Version" and "Agricultural University Version",analyzed the contents and writing intentions of the textbooks, expecting to help teachers have a better grasp of the main textbook textbooks to achieve teaching goals and teaching processes optimize. In this study, the literature method and comparative research method are used to compare the content and characteristics, breadth and depth, writing style, column setting, illustration ratio, practice activities, exercise setting, and development materials of both version of the textbooks. The comparison results revealed that the two versions have some things in common: they both show the practicability and pertinence of textbooks, and focus on the cultivation of students' practical ability and the development of cutting-edge knowledge.Features of the two versions :(1)The Higher Education Version is more difficult and strives for comprehensive knowledge;the Agricultural University Version is less difficult, and the content is simple.(2)There are many columns and rich types in the Higher Education Version, which have cultivated students' professional ability from various aspects, while there are few columns in the Agricultural University Version;there is no unit conclusion column in both version.(3)There are many illustrations in the Higher Education Version, but the proportion of tables and diagrams is large;there are few illustrations in the Agricultural University Version, but the proportion of model diagrams is large, which increases the interest of the textbook.(4)Experiments in the Higher Education Version have certain requirements for students' inquiry ability;the Agricultural University Version of the experiment is more feasible and operational, and the experimental columns of "project task design" and "attention to problems" are added in agriculturaluniversity version, and there is no such column in Higher Education Version.(5)The exercises in the Higher Education Version attach great importance to the practical application of students' practical skills, and the exercises are relatively difficult, with the largest proportion of concept strengthening exercises;the exercises in the Agricultural University Version are relatively simple, and the students' ability to recognize and remember basic knowledge is examined. Finally, suggestions are made for the compilation of two editions of textbooks and teacher teaching. In terms of textbook preparation: The Higher Education Version should pay attention to the feasibility of experiments;increase the proportion of ability application questions, physical maps and schematic diagrams;and pay attention to the unit conclusion column. The Agricultural University Version should set up columns with various functions and aptitude-type application questions;establish network-assisted learning and teaching resources that are compatible with teaching materials. In terms of teaching:The Higher Education Version should reasonably use the functionally diverse columns;attach importance to the practicality of experiments. The Agricultural University Version needs to add additional knowledge and increase the connectivity between the contents.According to the actual cognitive level and learning characteristics of professional farmers, teaching methods are selected.
