Resources are the basis for the survival and development of human society, and water and soil resources are the most basic material conditions for human survival, the basic guarantee of social and economic development, and the primary consideration to ensure food security. The distribution of water and soil resources in Shaanxi Province is seriously unbalanced. With the continuous development of economy and society, the contradiction between supply and demand of water and soil resources is becoming more and more serious.Analyzing the carrying capacity of water and soil resources in Shaanxi Province from the perspective of sustainable development is of great significance to realize the optimal allocation of water and soil resources in Shaanxi Province, alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of water and soil resources, and realize the efficient and sustainable utilization of water and soil resources in Shaanxi Province.Taking 10 cities and 1 District in Shaanxi Province as the research object, based on the ecological footprint method, this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of water resources carrying capacity and land resources carrying capacity in Shaanxi Province in 2005,20 1 0,20 1 5 and 2020;Based on the coupling and coordination model, the coupling and coordination status of per capita ecological footprint of water and soil resources and per capita ecological carrying capacity of water and soil resources in Shaanxi Province during the research period is analyzed. The main research results are as follows:(1)The temporal and spatial variation characteristics of water resources carrying capacity in Shaanxi Province are expounded. From 2005 to 2020,the ecological footprint of water resources per capita in Shaanxi Province increased steadily, and only Xi’an decreased slightly;Per capita agricultural water ecological footprint accounts for the largest proportion, and per capita ecological environment water accounts for the smallest proportion; The average value of per capita water resources ecological footprint of each city(District)is Hanzhong>Weinan>Ankang>Yulin>Xi’an>Xianyang>Baoji>Yangling>Shangluo>Yan’an>Tongchuan; The ecological footprint of water resources per capita in Shaanxi Province has the spatial distribution law of South to North and small in the middle. From 2005 to 2020,the per capita ecological carrying capacity of water resources in Shaanxi Province showed a downward trend as a whole, with the largest spatial distribution in the south, the second in the north and the smallest in the middle. The distribution law of ecological profit and loss of water resources per capita in Shaanxi Province is similar to the ecological carrying capacity of water resources per capita.During the study period, only Hanzhong,Ankang,Shangluo and Baoji are in the state of ecological surplus as a whole, and other cities are in the state of ecological deficit. The ecological footprint of water resources per capita in Shaanxi Province is positively correlated with GDP,urbanization rate, agricultural water consumption, industrial water consumption and domestic water consumption, and negatively correlated with the proportion of primary production; The per capita ecological carrying capacity of water resources is positively correlated with the annual precipitation and the proportion of secondary production.(2)The temporal and spatial variation characteristics of land resources carrying capacity in Shaanxi Province are expounded. From 2005 to 2020,the ecological footprint of land resources per capita in Shaanxi Province increased first and then decreased; The ecological footprint of fossil energy land per capita accounts for the largest proportion, and the ecological footprint of construction land per capita increases with the increase of years; The ecological footprint of per capita land resources has the spatial distribution law of small in the South and small in the north, and the ecological footprint of per capita fossil energy land has the spatial distribution law of high in the north and low in the south. From 2005 to 2020,the per capita ecological carrying capacity of land resources in Shaanxi Province showed a decreasing trend, with the characteristics of South to North and small in the middle in spatial distribution; The proportion of per capita cultivated land ecological carrying capacity and per capita forest land ecological carrying capacity are dominant. From 2005 to 2020,the ecological profit and loss of per capita land resources in Shaanxi Province showed a decreasing trend. In 2005,the ecological profit and loss of per capita land resources in Hanzhong,Ankang,Shangluo and Yan’an were in surplus, while in 2020,the ecological profit and loss of per capita land resources in other cities in Shaanxi Province except Yan’an and Shangluo were in ecological deficit; The sustainability of cultivated land is decreasing, and the whole Guanzhong area is in an unsustainable state. The per capita ecological profit and loss of forest land in Shaanxi Province is greater than zero, and the forest land is in a sustainable state.Energy consumption is the main driving force of the ecological footprint of land resources per capita in Shaanxi Province. The level of residents’consumption and urbanization rate also have a positive impact on the ecological footprint of land resources per capita.(3)The temporal and spatial variation law of the coupling and coordination state of water and soil resources carrying capacity in Shaanxi Province is revealed. From 2005 to 2020,the coupling coordination degree of per capita ecological footprint of water and soil resources in Shaanxi Province decreased, and the coordination state evolved from primary coordination to reluctantly coordination.Only Hanzhong,Ankang and Shangluo were in the coordination state; The coupling and coordination state of the ecological carrying capacity of water and soil resources per capita in the province is close to imbalance, and it is developing well except Yan’an and Xi’an.In terms of spatial distribution, the per capita ecological carrying capacity of water and soil resources in southern Shaanxi is in a coupled and coordinated state, while the per capita ecological carrying capacity of water and soil resources in Xi’an and Yangling District with better economic development in 2020 is in a serious imbalance state. |
