The Spatial Mismatch Of Tourism Resources And Tourism Economy And Its Influencing Factors In Gansu Province

Gansu Province has a narrow and long area,and the tourism resources show obvious spatial differentiation from west to east,with diverse resource types and different resource scales.At the same time,there are also large differences in the level of tourism economic development of cities(states)in the region.The mismatch between tourism resource endowments and the quality of tourism economic development,and the phenomenon of spatial mismatch,is particularly obvious,which has become an important reason restricting the development of tourism economy in Gansu Province.The research of the reasons for the spatial mismatch of tourism resources and tourism economy in Gansu Province have important reference value and practical enlightenment for Gansu Province to fully release the potential of tourism resources,realize the competitive development of tourism industry,and fully amplify the diversified effects of tourism on the economic development of Gansu Province.This study sorts out the main literature on spatial mismatch,spatial mismatch in the field of tourism,and the influencing factors that cause spatial mismatch at home and abroad,and briefly reviews it.The concepts of tourism resources,tourism economy and spatial mismatch are defined.Based on the spatial mismatch theory,comparative advantage theory and two-dimensional mismatch development of tourism economy of theory,and referring to previous studies,The evaluation index system of tourism resource endowment and comprehensive development level of tourism economy,gravity evolution model and spatial mismatch index are constructed.Based on the panel data of Gansu Province from 2012 to 2019,the study analyzes the evolution process of gravity center,the degree and type of spatial mismatch of tourism resources and tourism economy in 14 cities(states)of Gansu Province.Then,the panel data econometric model is further used to explore the factors affecting the spatial mismatch.The results show that frome 2012 to 2019,the tourism resources in Gansu Province are mainly concentrated in the Hexi Corridor,and the tourism resources in the Loess Plateau are relatively scarce.Tourism economic development of 14 cites(state)is not balanced,and the gap is gradually expanding.There is a mismatch between tourism resources and tourism economy in Gansu Province,and the direction and degree of spatial mismatch of each city(state)are different.Most of the cities(states)with relatively scarce tourism resources are positive mismatch(the tourism resource advantage index is greater than the tourism economic development index),while with relatively rich tourism resources are negative,which indicates that the overall tourism resources in Gansu Province have not fully released their supporting role in the tourism economy,and there is a certain resource burying,which needs to be further explored and utilized.The empirical analysis of econometric model shows that there is heterogeneity in fourteen cities(states).At present,the tourism economy in Gansu Province is still in the stage of resource-driven development,and fourteen cities(states)show different characteristics of the main influencing factors of spatial mismatch in the four major zones.Among them,Hexi Corridor are mainly affected by regional traffic conditions;Longnan mountainous area are mainly affected by regional economic level,climate comfort and opening level.Gannan plateau area is mainly affected by the scale of tourism industry,climate comfort;the situation in the Loess Plateau is more complex.Lanzhou and Pingliang are affected by five factors : regional economic level,location traffic conditions,tourism industry scale,climate comfort and openness.Qingyang is affected by four factors :regional economic level,location traffic conditions,tourism industry scale and climate comfort,while Baiyin and Dingxi are mainly affected by regional economy.
