A Study On Group Work Intervention In The Relief Of Freshmen 'inferiority Complex

Inferiority complex is a concept often mentioned in psychology.It is a common psychological phenomenon in human groups.Due to individual differences in personality,family education and social environment,the attitude and treatment of inferiority complex are also different,which leads to different effects on individual growth and development.On the one hand,it will stimulate the internal growth motivation of individuals and drive them to pursue excellence;On the other hand,it may also have negative effects such as self-confidence.In this study,Western X university was selected as the research site to investigate the freshmen's sense of inferiority by using the inferiority scale(FIS)and interview.The survey found that the overall sense of inferiority of the freshmen surveyed was concentrated in the moderate sense of inferiority,in which the non inferiority accounted for 20.91%,the mild inferiority accounted for 27.27%,the moderate inferiority accounted for 45.46%,and the severe inferiority accounted for 6.36%.At the same time,in the five dimensions of self-respect,social confidence,study,appearance and physical fitness,There are different degrees of inferiority complex.Among the subjects who participated in the survey in the early stage,13 students were selected as team members based on the principle of voluntariness and personal inferiority.Under the guidance of social support theory,this study tries to effectively alleviate the sense of inferiority of group members from the two dimensions of expressive support and instrumental support.According to the performance of the five dimensions of group members' inferiority complex,a total of five group activities were designed.In order to verify the effectiveness of group activities,the group members were measured before and after using the inferiority complex scale(FIS).Finally,through the comparative analysis of the scores before and after the test,it is found that the sense of inferiority can be alleviated;Under the guidance of the theory of social inferiority,the group is effective to alleviate the freshmen's sense of inferiority;The effectiveness of group work intervention in Freshmen's sense of inferiority.
