Case Work Intervention Study On Social Integration Of Drug Addicts In The Community

In recent years,the number of drug addicts in China is increasing,drug trafficking activities occur frequently,and drug types emerge in endlessly.The drug problem seriously affecting social and family stability.Although the anti-drug department has stepped up its efforts to crack down on drugs,the environment is still not improved.Since the implementation of the anti-drug law of the people’s Republic of China in 2008,the concept of "community detoxification" has been put forward.Drug addicts need to go through the stages of physical detoxification,psychological detoxification and social integration in the process of community detoxification.However,the work of drug control in China now is focus on physical detoxification and psychological rehabilitation,but little research on the social integration of community rehabilitation workers,so it cannot provide professional help for such groups.Therefore,there are still many obstacles and difficulties for the social integration of community drug rehabilitation workers.This paper is divided into six chapters.Taking a case of M community in Zhengzhou City as an example,this paper discusses and analyzes the problems encountered by drug addicts in the community and the intervention measures of social workers.First of all,the author uses the case study method and questionnaire survey method,with the support of ecosystem theory and advantage perspective theory,respectively from the micro,meso and macro levels,analyzes the influencing factors of social integration of drug addicts in M community where the case owner is located,systematically summarizes the problems existing in the practice of community drug treatment,and discusses the necessity of case work intervention in community drug treatment.Secondly,the author takes the case of Mr Guo in M community as the service object,collects and analyzes the background information and basic situation of Mr Guo,and makes a comprehensive demand estimation and advantage evaluation,and formulates the corresponding intervention plan.Thirdly,according to the service objectives and plans,the author carries out regular urine test,maintains abstinence ethics,carries out psychological counseling,constructs self-awareness of the case owner,promotes good family interaction,helps the case owner regain family support,excavates his own advantages,enhances employment and entrepreneurship ability,increases community publicity,and eliminates stereotypes,so as to help the case owner solve social problems.Through the author’s intervention in the community drug treatment service process of Mr Guo,the social integration of the case owner has been relieved.At the same time,the author found that there are still some problems in this field,such as the low professional level of social workers,short intervention time,low recognition of social workers,and imperfect community drug policy,and put forward corresponding suggestions for these problems.Through this study,the author provides practical accumulation for the development of social integration of community drug addicts.
